like button for forums

I saw a thread that had a 'go to most helpful answer' link. I did not see any like option or similar voting, and the forum search turned up no helpful threads.

So can the forums get a like button, or way to rate helpful answers? (or please point it out to the noob if there already is one)

the OP of a thread can mark a post reply of the thread as "most helpful", though this feature is only enabled in very few sections.

Where should it be enabled?

It is not a "like" function and it's not the normal wbb2/wbb3 "rate a thread" function because they suck performance-wise and also only lead to BS votes based on the poster instead of the content.

So, the only person able to mark something with that function is the threadstarter.
