Even level 90 gear is still better than current crafted gear because of set bonuses and better ghost stats. About the only time this isn't true is with weapons. Just because your gear says "Level 98" doesn't automatically make it better than anything lower.

Basically it's not worth unbinding UD instance gear because it's nearly guaranteed it won't sell, and even if it does it won't sell for enough to have been worth using an unbinder. This is bad for GF and for all of the players. The amount of perfectly fine gear that gets turned into t6 tierstones because it doesn't have a usable stat and is UD is sad.
