Buff Transformation Pots

With the new level cap coming out, it would be awesome to get a transformation potion sale! Donichuka's, Giant Gingerbread Men, etc! I know many of us are out of close to and in order to run the new content these are going to be needed!

No, no, no.
These should never, ever be needed.

Viewing these as a requirement only means we end up complaining that instances are too easy and Runewaker should make them harder.
Harder instances means we make our gear a tier or two higher making it cost exponentially more to play this game.
Does anyone remember when we used to tier to three-higher-than-the-base-tier?
What about when statting gear was all that was needed rather than tiering it as well just to get an extra 10% base stats?

Somehow, we decided to tier higher and higher above the base tier on our weapons, and require more and more buffs, not to mention the stats and runes required for our armors.
We paid the cost to become stronger and then complained that instances were too easy.
Runewaker made them harder...

I've posted about this 'pattern of behaviour' before and we really need to stop thinking that way.
Remember, it's a game, not a job.
So, relax a bit more...

Too late, its pretty much already a standard, just like +20 jewels.

I honestly think the transformation potions should not only be sold at certain times of the year but also in limited quantities per account. Use them for a special occasion, not a regular buff. I miss the good ol days in siege war where everyone wasn't a damn stone guardian. It disgusts me when I watch other people's sieges and instance runs and the entire party/guild are all transformed. Its becoming a standard in upper level instances and siege wars. With players hitting higher and higher unbuffed stats, these potions are becoming stronger as they are a percentage boost. Because of the insane numbers that these potions can potentially grant, it's become a pay to win item.

Limiting and restricting their availability to players would solve that issue. Or just take them out of siege. This would probably piss off a lot of people though. I think a fair compromise would be to include these potions in the token shop for an insanely cheap amount whenever they are on in the diamond shop. This eliminates the pay to win aspect of the item.

It's all just preference though. I like being able to see a character, the gear that they worked on, the intimidating costumes, an the player model animations when they attack.

But Cloaked, RoM is a pay to win game. Always will be. To almost the most insane degree possible.

tbh considering the cost of transformation potions idk if we can call them a pay to win item. 3 dias per potion is accessible to pretty much everyone the main issue with is it is the limited availability forcing players to buy them in bulk the 1-2 times a year they are on sale. same with the good wedding food.

btw harder doesn't mean requires better gear, for instance rh is much harder then mtn because of the strat and not because of the gear you need to clear it. For similar reasons tosh hm is harder then beth hm even though you can run tosh with lesser gear. As for the required part let just say you need them to compete against ppl who do use them and if you don't compete it's hard to justify a spot as a dps in an endgame guild. Can't blame the players for putting all the chances on their side.
