New 50-69 Daily quest

People have more than 3 classes now, Since dog meats are bound and there is no "fast" daily with equivalent XP. How about making a new zone similar to coast of opportunity/ Xavier with a level 50 daily quest similar to the research experiment in Balu village. So people can buy those daily tickets and get those secondary classes on up there.. butterflies take too long.... Well better yet just add a similar quest a new zone is NOT needed.

That's why they sell those 1M exp orbs.

If this is truly for your 4th class, you only have to do flies until level 61, then you can move on to AKoR. Granted, it is boring to do flies day after day until you get to 61, but realize that the exp/tp you get from those 4 Xaviera dailies are greater than any daily you could normally do until you get to AKoR. Essentially, they are level 69 dailies in terms of exp gained.

You want quick and easy...well just do the flies daily only, and do it in raid with more than 5 people, and have a passageway set up to the NPC and the courtyard; takes about 3 mins to do ten dailies.

They definitely need to make the leveling process from 55-69 much easier. New zone similar to xaviera would be awesome.

If this isn't planned in the foreseeable future, perhaps adjusting the XP on the dailies from the current zones to help with leveling.

Or make it easier to do butterflies. Like what Auros said, but just make it the NPC that gives the butterfly quest port you to butterflies, and of course another one back. Seems simple enough to add without a big change/addition.

A simple change might be more appealing to Runewaker since it won't be much effort.

How about more of those secret 14m quests :) ...wait maybe they are more :O

It would be nice if the old areas were revamped to provide more experience and tp to new players. I find it sad that butterflies provides more experience than a daily in a higher level area. It would also give new players a reason to visit these old areas.

Just implement 2 new low level zones likw they did with CoO and Xaviera or give us quest reset tickets for those zones. Also players should just wait for 100% XP/TP weekends before leveling all classes and then just farm TP away for the classees they want to play.

Issue with revamping old areas is, what about the people who actually quested properly and did all the quests? Imo they shouldn't be punished for doing all the quests. Easier to simply make a new zone and fill it with quests to make level 50-70 and make it only unlock after you have a certain level main class.

issue isnt the dailies in the new zones, once you hit 68 maxing a class isnt so hard, but to get to 68 is the issue, since the dailies up to it is really slow.

RW/GF should make you go from level 50 to level 70 (skipping those in the middle) or better yet, straight to level 90 and get rid of all that pesky questing that this game is designed for.
just because you decide to get a 3rd or 4th class does not mean you should be vaulted over those levels, this is not WOW.
yes its a pain, but deal with it. if you continue to complain, eventually RW/GF will say screw it and stop supporting this game all together.

Actually I did every quest up to Chrysalia on two of my characters (minus quests from lvl 55+ instances). After Ravenfell I quested on main classes while doing dailies on other classes. My levels are 72/68/60 and 74/70/66. I don't think swapping classes to do main quests would have helped. So yeah, we need more XP/TP from dailies. Maybe at least 50% of regular quests in the zone?

I have done all the old areas. I am an old player and tbh would have no issue on new players receiving more tp and exp on quests then I did.
I think if not all the quests getting a revamp at least the dailies should.
I understand Cenre's feelings about having done it and not getting as much benefit out of the quests. I would also like more players on the servers so would be more than willing to put up with it.
Perhaps even taking the old area dailies and lowering the number of items needed for a daily would work, who knows.
I guess the powers that be will have to weigh the positive and negative and decide from there.

Making people spend money on dailys resets is part of the monetization, thats why we wont see any change.
I agree that some help should be given to new players, i gift a set of dirty staed gear to low lvl guildies so they can quest easily and not ragequit for being weak, but keeping new players interested on game is not my job, its ROM job.
A way to help new players could be to make the starter gift bag give some useful gear and make it last till lvl 90, because now lvl cap is 98, when the bag was created it lasyed to 50 and the cap was 55 or so.
Anyway this is never gonna happend and ita just a dream, if u see a new player make him a favor and tell to not waste his time and money because what u get at the end is not worth it lol

The problem is quite simple. The game was designed to max out and be balanced at level 20. They just shoehorned in the higher levels on top of that. They didn't reset the game as the levels increased . The time and difficulty of leveling should have been reset every time the level caps increased. That probably have been too expensive but at least it should happen every 10 levels. The skills, TP and equipment was never well balanced after that. Instead they just piled on levels and new areas without resetting and changing the whole game which was required. There are far too many skills that are overpowered or even worse worthless because they were based on percentages or points which were never reset to account for the realities of the current damage levels. This really becomes evident when you get to level 50 and gets worse as you get higher and higher.
A new player without help would take ages to reach the max level today. Just think of how many hours you needed to get to the max levels. Far too long for most people starting the game to even consider. But once they get help they really just skip most of the game to become viable. If you get help and are strong enough and well equipped by your guild you are in no danger at the lower levels. One set of maxed out wings makes you strong enough to be god like for all the lower levels. The game then lacks any challenge or fun.
In its current state the game is not playable for new people and completely unbalanced for the long term players. It is no wonder there are less and less people playing. I said good bye to several old players recently, sad to see them go but even sadder to see that there are no replacements. It is time to make major changes or prepare an exit plan.

Totally agree with aardvark3 here. RoM get's new and returning players all the time, they just rarely stick around now because of all the issues. There are reasons the game recently reduced 7 servers in the US to 2 and it has nothing to do with the players. People will play and even pay for their entertainment if they perceive they are getting value for their investment in both time and money. Unfortunately, that's just not happening anymore.

To quote Einstein, insanity is repeating the same thing over and over and expecting different results. RoM rehashes the same type of content, repeats the same events every year - even the same bugs from those events show back up. Siege has had the same map, same 2 castles and 6 towers since well, pretty much always. The point is this: Just like every other online game, RoM has to be willing and able to evolve over time in response to their players - not what the company employees want or think is best, the players. Investing in a new forum format or Item Shop feature that nobody is complaining about is all well and good as long as the issues the players repeatedly ask about are addressed first...or of course GF can just continue doing the same thing over and over again like they have for the past 4 years and expecting different results.

Meh, either way, it's not like the forums are taken seriously in this game so I'm gonna go back to not bothering to post. Good luck all.
