Zodiac pets are great and they do help out with the summoned buffs. I don't know about you guys, but I summon mine & then return them right away. What if RW were to add affinities to the pets that advance as you keep them out with you. I would also recommend giving them health bars so if they die, they lose affinity.
This would be an example for a water type zodiac pet:
1. Newborn - 0 affinity, 1/2 the current buff ( currently +20% xp/tp for 2 hours ) so +10% xp/tp for 1 hour
1a. As affinity goes up, +1% xp/tp maxing @ 110% for 100 Affinity; +1 minute duration maxing out @ 160 minutes for 100 Affinity
2. Adult - 0 affinity, 1/2 the current buff for 1 hour
2a. adequate bonus mod for selected bonus & +1 minute duration up to 160 minutes
2c. At 80 Affinity, water element buff can be chosen ( +% water damage, +% fire dmg reduction, whatever ) that is buffed up per Affinity up to max 100 Affinity
3. Legendary - 0 Affinity, 1/2 the current buff for 1 hour
3a. adequate bonus mod for selected bonus & +1 minute duration up to 160 minutes
3c. At 80 Affinity, Legendary Water element buff can be chosen ( +% water damage, +% all dmg reduction, etc.. ) that is buffed up per Affinity up to max 100 Affinity
So the zodiac pets would give you more bonuses the more time you spend with them out. The element buffs would be in addition to the current pet buff. Once an elemental buff is chosen it cannot be changed.
This would spur people to get their main element zodiac pets. Also, if you get all the zodiac pets to make the dragon zodiac? well, that could be really interesting, the potential is there to do all kinds of stuff w/ the dragons.
