Item Shop Wishes

How about really opening up the floodgates with a nice sale on BOTH house contracts AND outfits. Really pull out some of the older ones. Make it a big sale as well. I'm encouraged that we have more outfits in the shop regularly, but there are still a bunch that we have not seen for a long time.

One of those things that does not affect gameplay, but it does get people spending diamonds.

there was charges happy hour a week ago lol, pfs happy hour <3 and at least this time it had the rubies on it, unlike the last one. They should just put most of the looks in the itemshop all the time, currently its the same sets that are repeated over and over again.

But ye, its all a waste of time, is a thread on en forum over 20 pages i think, and all have been ignored.

We had a thread a couple of years back for this, we even had to find the item id in the shop and fill out a complete request form for each item. It was ignored just as this one will be. If a GM could link the old thread to this one it would be helpful.

Polog is not a GM!!!!!!! he is the community manager and probably works in Gameforge office as per a post he did on one of mine with a Gameforge letter header and a post=it on it :P Gameforge i am pretty sure are making up the sales in the item shop manager, but i might be wrong, but to have new items that were removed or de-activated in the database they probably would need Runewaker to fix that.

For a little transparency (and what's been mentioned in the forums in various spots many times):

Polog = Community Manager. Works for Gameforge directly in Germany. Does not manage the shop.
Team Manager = Manages the team (hey that's me!). Does not manage the shop.
Game Admin = Administrates the game (hi burd!). Does not manage the shop.
Super Game Master = Takes care of some higher level support and events for the GA, TM (my main homies Shark, Lobster, Kiranos and Kali). Does not manage the shop.
Game Master = 1st level of support. Patrols the server, integrates with the community on the forums and IRC. Does not manage the shop.

Gameforge = Redesigned the shop into the new interface for integration throughout all of Gameforge's games. No longer has the rely on the game's developer (whether it is Runes of Magic or some other game published by Gameforge) to make changes to the shop DESIGN (not content). Make managing the shop for the shop manager easier, since there's 1 common interface and "backend" for adding, deleting and editing items in each game's shop.

As for your suggestions about shop content, Polog notes it down and has a meeting every week where the suggestions are brought to the attention of the people that make those decisions (no idea exactly who). Why the items haven't been integrated, no idea. Perhaps they can't? Perhaps they don't want to? No idea. I do know that the suggestions ARE heard, they ARE forwarded, they ARE discussed internally.

Now, Isopod has opened the thread again regarding the item shop discussions, with the format we had for forwarding these suggestions. Please follow that format in that thread, give us your suggestions (even if they're repeats of what has been said here or elsewhere) and we will continue to forward them as applicable.

TYVM Aqua and i wasn't off on my own explanation hahahaha. Sadly the people who are in the supposed weekely meeting should get in Teamspeak with the players/community so they can see we WANT THE ITEMS we've been asking for 3 years. And please not a meeting with the Chihuahua that was calling himself a Pit Bull, that one was less Pit and more bull!!!!! hahaha.

Always wondered how could they make any decision on the item shop, for the players, when they NEVER EVEN PLAYED THE GAME!!!!! and i don't mean install the game, go through start up zone and then uninstall the game, more like level 3 classes to 98 and gear it up to T9 and all +20 and then they might be able to make educated decisions for the players. :beer:

suggestions for the shop:
1) +20 for dias like accessories are right now for both weapons and armor.
2) do some outfit sales from time to time (not that i am totally looking foward for a chance to buy the sexy bunny outfit or anything...)

People.... stop asking for old item shop back. IT IS NOT EVER, EVER going to happen. Deal with it. I dont know how many different ways and styles they can tell us, but im sure they are running out of patience.

My only wish is to either... put +20 jewels for sale all the time.... or completely remove them from game and lets go back to +16....
lets either go all in or all out on these jewels please.

And please increase the plussing rate for jewels... OR once a month hold a plussing event, something people can look forward to, for example, if it is like the second weekend of every month, people can plan for it, invest resources for it, spend money for it.

Any player.. and i mean ANY, wants to rage quit if they spent hundreds, or thousands of diamonds trying to plus something, and it does nothing but make you want to flip the desk.

7 years playing, and i can assure you, THE #1 REASON you lose players, is plussing rate and cost.

If after all these years begging, pleading and screaming for stuff to be put into the Item Shop and we haven't got them there is a reason we are not getting them. They don't want to put them in the Item Shop. Watching people in threads scream about buying 2000 diamonds and failing to plus an item to a higher level and still play the game, they know that they should keep doing what they are doing and people will keep buying more diamonds and getting nothing. Why sell an item for 500 or 1000 diamonds when you can force people to gamble for the same item that does nothing and force them to buy 10,000 diamonds or more and waste them for no result. The few people who are left are addicts and like any addict will buy any amount of diamonds to keep getting their fix. The company like any pusher knows their customers. That is why you don't see the items requested in the Item Shop for fixed prices. They make more money doing it this way.

For what it's worth, this is something GMs from all regions bring up to our CoMas over and over and OVER. There were two recent threads that addressed difficulty gearing more holistically that were each forwarded wholesale. Players keep harping on it: teamlers keep harping on it. Keep fighting the good fight folks, just follow the usual forums rules so it sticks.

Word give plussing event more often & give us all plus 20 in shop tbh iylt would be best to get rid of fail rate completely fail rates should only be on jewel which you buy with gold not dias and rubies.
Give us perfects, everyone who plays the game doesn't have a good job or inherited monet etc if plussing rates were abolished this would be a huge help.
Also another good thing would be making a hammer which adds 10 duration each time you use it permanently so people can make od gear

Whatever happened to those exp amulets that gave 10k exp to pets only see tp amulets im pretty sure most of us have maxed skills on pets please consider putting exp amulets back in for pets ty for charge sale btw.
