Permanent XP TP increase

This game is totally UNFAIR to new toons/players old toons have had thousands of daily quests to max their TP. These 1-2 days mini events just aren't enough.a permanent 5x XP/Tp from quests and a 10x for mob killing is needed.
100 people spending $10 is more profit than 5 spending $100.

Old toons started out as new toons; new toons become old toons over time. Not sure I understand your point.

I like making new toons, because imho the beginning part of this game is the best part. After level 60, again, imho, the game kinda drags, and end game just sux.

Now, if you have a suggestion on how to make levels 60 - 98 more fun, then bring it up. But, an instant 60 to 98 pill is not gonna make anything any better cause you just instantly go from drag to suk.

Permanent tp bonus, yes. The TP required to level skills is getting completely insane. It costs nearly 80M TP to max one skill. That is completley ridiculous.

The reason that up to level 60 this is quite a good game is that things are balanced. XP, TP, mob strength, instances etc. on one side and on the other side armor, weapons, life etc. they all were balanced and the game was fun to play. Now everything is just a total mess the balance is totally wacky. Fun and gaming was replaced with drudgery and gambling. Nothing is balanced anymore. The worst examples are TP and Plus. When they added levels the amount of TP needed to level skills went wild and ruined the game they tried to balance it by adding plus to 20 and soon to be 30 or 50 it didn't balance the TP problem and if anything just messed it up more and drove away people (having runes that added 40 percent to XP and not having the same rune for TP was just plain stupid and made the balance worse) . The Wheel of Despair drove away even more in futile attempts to plus items.
The complete failure to balance everything rather than just adding random numbers to everything and hoping it works was just a bad idea. Making TP a bit more reasonable may be a small step in the right direction but one they will refuse to take.

I agree that XP/TP balance is a mess. When you level-capped at 55 and began to catch up on your TP, that wasn't so bad. Now you have to get to 98 before you can make headway on the intentional deficit. The thought behind this TP shortage in RoM and a lot of other mmo's I have tried out is that you have to select the skills you want to develop. Some other games use "Skill trees" or "development paths". There should be a good way for TP development to start catching up beyond about 50-ish. Grind TP weekends don't really get it done.

One thought would be that you keep the 10XP/1TP ratio on quests and mobs up through 50. Then, from 51 to maybe 58, 9XP/1TP, and then 8/1 at somewhere around 65-70, etc. Don't change the XP per quest/kill or the TP required to level a skill, just shuffle up the TP. It should be a simple thing from a programming standpoint, and would allow you to develop your character more fully and more quickly.

Granted, if you levelled up via the bonus EXP events you are experiencing a severe shortfall in TP. TP has always been a struggle in that you never seem to have enough, yet people generally seem to be doing "OK", I certainly have not heard of anyone not being able to complete the content because of a lack of TP.

I think, if we had the same bonus on TP that we get on EXP during these events we would not be having this discussion. Not sure why they had to split the %'s except for the possibility that someone saw the money making opportunity long ago.

The ratio isn't 10 to one since almost everyone has a 40 percent extra XP rune in their gear it is at least 14 to one.

Dreamland.. it's always a good place to farm tp.

but yea, you are right, double-edged sword... new people questing on their mains will get the short end of the TP. ( until they realize they can do do higher level quests & dailies to make up for that shortage )

That's not gonna make up for shortage. Higher level quests with bonus XP and no bonus TP will result in more shortage.

Xp/Tp from mobs should definitely be increased by 6-7x. Even during xp/tp events, its still not really that worthwhile to grind regular zone mobs for xp/tp, and not everyone can farm normal mode mobs. That also makes killing mobs in instances TP rewarding as well.

This is a pretty good point, and I would imagine is why we don't get TP to max every skill that easily. Too bad the devs didn't design the skills to actually make choosing different sets of skills/rotations possible, otherwise it would have been a pretty neat idea where even people playing the exact same class combo could have different builds due to different skill rotations.

Only viable way for tp currently enough to make up for lack of it from quests is honestly to do a ton of daily tickets with all buffs. All other way requires tons of grinding over months/years which is too slow.

I think the one thing you are forgetting and the reason why as you get higher levels it gets harder to lvl your tp is that as your levels increase you also get more skills to put that tp into, not only the base skills but also the 15-70 elite skills, if you only wanted 5 or so skills or just your base skill tp wouldn't be a problem, but where your xp constantly increases as your levels increase and you get more skills you have more skills to put the tp into.

I'd say that lack of TP is for making money, but 185 diamonds for 100k TP amulets doesn't seem reasonable, and TP Quest Potions aren't even for sale on regular basis (FOR sale, not ON sale)

Lol wabbit you not making sense most ppl stop getting skills after lvl 50 I believe the others skills after that are elites which are passive rom could close the gap they just refuse to I Cleary remember tp on quest back in the day which they said never happened and it's not possible lmao

i agree that tp rates should be raised or cost of drts lowered.
but i also think think that in a game like this it should take a while to get max tp for skills.
