Compensation for trying other GF games

I wonder if GF would be willing to grant diamonds to players that do try other GF games when posted in the News section?

It takes time and effort to download & set up to try a new game so I think the players would be less ascerbic if there was a real plus side.

In this case, Runes of Magic players would probably be willing to try something new if they got diamonds in RoM rather than whatever gifts in the new game.

When a player logs in to the new game using their GF login for the first time, they're given a code with BOUND diamonds. Make it something like 20 diamonds. Negligable, but people would then appreciate the opportunity rather than be super negative about it. It's a win-win, GF gets players to try new games & players get something good for the game they normally play.

Note that a previous thread of this nature was closed down for a good reason. These are Gameforge owned forums and Gameforge is advertising Gameforge games on their forums. This we have no control over and they are within every right to do so. Other games' players get upset over the posts made same as we do. But again, we have no control over it. No one is forcing you to click the link inside the thread or play the advertised game.

Though, keep in mind, this thread is not to be used as an outlet for complaining about the recent thread about Dropzone. If such occurs (I've already cleaned two posts out relating to it), the thread will be closed and will not re-open.

I'm not even compelled to try a free game from gameforge, let alone an early access game for $20 and a $20 DLC on their "launch".

THIS game still has elements that have not left beta stage despite the overdue talk of it leaving beta
A real sysadmin knows how to change the time.
If you make the same mistake while trying to make up for the previous one, you are doing something wrong.

As much as I'd love to say I offer consulting services, the scope of things broken is too large.

If GF is advertizing other games on our forum, is it not logical they are also advertising RoM on the other games' forums. I think that is good for RoM. If you don't want to try the other games, why bother to download the clients? If you aren't downloading the clints, you shouldn't care about the link.

On the other hand, if you think DZ or any other game sounds interesting, isn't it convenient to have it right there? Seems a pretty petty issue to me.

I'm paying lots of money to play this game & it takes time & effort to move to another game. Heck, I barely have time to do siege, mini's & dailies before it's bed time w/ work in the AM; but I still log in every day & buy diamonds when I need them to enjoy this game.

I agree that this thread should not be used for bashing GF or anything else. It's here to see if GF is willing to grant compensation/gifts in this game for players to try out other games. Like I stated in the OP, it's a win-win.
