Diamond sales and maths

The banner for the current diamond sale promises "140% more" diamonds. But if it delivers 140% of the normal value, then it is delivering only "'40% more" diamonds than normal. So which is it?

For example, will I get 240 diamonds rather than the normal 100, or only 140 diamonds rather than the normal 100?

Under Australian consumer protection law, you would be held to the promise of an additional 140% (not just an additional 40%).

If the promotion is misleading, it would probably be best to describe it accurately.

It is not misleading, it is 140% MORE diamonds, so on top of what you'd originally get (it could all be worded better ofc...) but yes u are getting 2.4x the amount.

Hello Wethigorwed,

as Rougetopriest mentioned, Diamond Happy Hour are giving you indeed 100% base diamond amount and +X % more on top of that (for example +140%).

If you are unsure how many Diamonds you will get in the end (and if HH is active), please always check the Shop and there you will see crossed old Diamond amount with the information how much exactly you get during HH (as seen on the image).

Hope it helps :)

Good value?? how is that??? if you spend 49.99 and get 3120 diamonds, then turn around and try to go buy +17 to +20 jewels at 399 diamonds EACH!!! so basically you are able to buy 7 plussing jewels and if you are lucky you get one piece of gear at +20, then take the 13 armor pieces and accessories, so you need 650$ if you have no more than 50% fail rates HAHAHAHA also take into account how much it will cost you to get them to +16 to start with also.

If you are Canadian then that 49.99 US dollars with the exchange rate will be 65$ Canadian, unless they would do 1000% diamond sale it is not worth it for me. Look carefully at the economic value you get for your money and the amount of people left on the servers before. :doofy:

No, it is not a good value, hasn't ever been... 100$ on U.S. gets you roughly 8k diamonds, give or take a few..

When you go to spend it. you realize, u can spend 8k diamonds pretty damn quickly.... esp plussing anything....

Imo you should get something like 20k diamonds for 100$... THEN it might be a better deal.

Canadians I guess get screwed hard as zidlef mentions...

Buying plussers is a 'fool's game', also known as gambling. If you want to consider value, then buy permanent things such as mounts, or consumables, such as reset tickets. You will never be able to calculate value based on gambling, well, I should say, never to your satisfaction.
