SaveVariables.lua randomly resets

Occasionally when I log in, my SaveVariables.lua file gets wiped out. This erases ALL of my addon settings, as well as resets my entire User Interface back to default. It's a major pain to re-configure everything.

Does anyone know what causes this and what I can do to help prevent it? I'm now making backups of my SaveVariables.lua file every so often just so that I have something relatively recent to fall back to.

I don't know what causes it but the best way to prevent it is to keep a back up of your RoM My Documents folder.

Its a pain, but it works and I have no other advice.
