Video Card help

Hi,i have had runes of magic on a previous pc and the video card did not reach the requirments.I just bought a new one and wanted to know if this video card will be able to run.

I did look at the system requirements and i cant tell if mine is at least as good as that here is the system req if u dont feel like looking at it.

Runes of Magic video card Requirement:DirectX 9.0c compatible with 128MB RAM, Pixel Shader 2.0 (or better

Like as not, your GPU is integrated with the system board, and it's not one of the better ones. You might see if your new computer has a PCIe x16 video expansion slot--it probably does--and shop around for a more capable, dedicated video card for it.

It's sort of compatible. The 6150SE is in fact an integrated graphics chip and rather old now.

Though it is marked as supporting Shader Model 3 (which means vertex shader 3.0 support and pixel shader 3.0 support), integrated graphics chips often skimp on the pixel shaders and actually run them off the CPU or some other such thing.

So in short, it might very well be able to run the game, but is likely to offer rather bad performance. You would be better off getting a new video card.
