Really weird error when trying to install

When i open the client and it starts downloading the patches a small box pops up and says:

File patch_4.0.5.2467.en_4.0.5.2472.en.exe Download e Then it cuts off. I click close and then

Windows cannot find patch _4.0.5.2467.en_4.0.5.2472.en.exe Make sure you typed the name correctly, then try again.

How do i fix this? i never typed anything

EDIT: Also why is this game so buggy to install.. :/ i really hope the actual game doesn't have as many flaws as the installing part.

EDIT#2: Ran as administrator, same thing.

Hello Waaks,

Can you please post your entire DxDiag? Usually some people have troubles patching up the game. I suggest you make sure the downloader/patcher is run as an Admin and that your firewall settings allow it to download.

If that does not work, I recommend you manually patch up the game (information on how to do that is found here: https://forum.runesofmagic.com/showthread.php?t=363202 )

There are several possible problems that you could be having here.

The first one is corruption in the installation files. You might consider deleting the ones you have and redownloading. Since you're using a notebook computer with very limited graphics (more on this below), I'd recommend getting the Slim client.

If you're using a wireless connection to your notebook, consider using a wired connection instead. This will speed up throughput and give you a more stable connection.

Your firewall may be blocking or otherwise impeding the game patcher. You will need to add Runes of Magic to its exception list.

And finally, your integrated video chipset (Intel HD Graphics) is not very good for gaming. In addition, the dedicated video RAM (64MB) is below our minimum system requirements. Presuming that you can get the game installed and patched to the currrent revision level, you will almost certainly have to adjust your in-game video settings to their lowest points. Even so, you will have slow, laggy gameplay due to your video chipset. And since this is a notebook computer, you cannot upgrade either the chipset or the dedicated video RAM that is installed.
