Logging in issues with the Game

K Sorry for the inconvenience but my issue is that I've downloaded the game client , reseted my Frogster - America password. Now when I click on the Runes Of Magic it loads up fine up to game log. Everytime I try to log in to the game it tells me Account name or password error. I've reseted my password about ten times already. I know my game password is good cause I can get on here and send this message. So how can I fix the problem.

Hi Ordindrake. You could be running into a couple of different problems.

First, are you giving the system some time to register the changed passwords? It takes around 15 minutes for the system to register the change, so if you change passwords a lot the system may not catch up and get confused. Change your password one last time, give it twenty minutes for good measure and try logging in again.

If that doesn't work, check the very bottom of the first client window and check what region your client is set to. It's the very bottom right hand corner, and it's pretty small. Make sure it's set to the US. That happened to me when I first downloaded the game a million or so years ago. I had registered a US account, but for some reason my client was set to EU/Spain. As soon as I set it to US, I was good to go.

If neither of those things fix your problem let me know.

I really need help if anyone can help me. I cant login on ingame but in website i can why???please i need help i spent my whole day to install this game!!!!!!!!!!

I'll need some more information to help you Habadat. When you say "can't login in game" what do you mean exactly? It says your password is incorrect? What error message are you getting? If it says your password is incorrect, try the steps I gave to Ordindrake- your password or region may be incorrect. Change your password, wait 20 minutes and then try. Check the region and make sure you are set to the US region.

If you are getting a different error message, let me know and we can go from there.

Same Problem here.

Im German and installed the Game shortly, now i can't log in. I've allready changed my password one time ... maybe 30minutes ago ... still no success.

My Client-Version is: 4.0.8.2498.en
the region is set to: DE/AT/CH
language is set to: german

But when i try to log in, it shows me an onscreen-keyboard where the letters Z and Y are switched with each others. So its english keyboard layout. I have one or more Z's in my password so i've tried to use z and y in some variants but still no success. Also the try to use only the onscreen-keyboard doesn't helped =(

There is no difference between the EU and US client downloads. The issue you are probably running into has to do with the region and language selected. Here's the easy fix:

Start the client, then click on the Region/Language button in its lower right corner. To play on the US servers, select USA and English from the drop downs, then click Apply. Start the game.
