Full Installer Gives me File install error

Hello,
im trying to install the full client and i have downloaded it a few times and each time its ether the same error or a different file error each time. If there a reason for this? Yes it does fully download before it runs.

I'd say one or more of the files is corrupted during download. It happens.

You might try going here, instead: http://forum.us.runesofmagic.com/showthread.php?t=66641 You'll find two lists of direct download files, one for the Full client, one for the Slim client.

Pick a list, then download no more than two files at a time to keep your download speed reasonable. When done, run the ROMSetup.exe file.

Be aware that after installing the game, there will be a dozen or so updates that will need to be downloaded and installed the first time you run the game launcher. I'd recommend temporarily disabling any a/v program that's running for both the game file downloads and the patching process. You can re-enable it after you're done.

Alright, i did the full client and it still does it.

I do not have anti-virus or anything else that would block it and i did download each file one at a time. I have no idea what it could be. I don't wanna use the slim version because it would take away to the experience any idea?

I would suggest you check your memory. Bad memory is the main cause of such installation errors. The installer just happens to be accessing an area of memory that is bad. None of your other programs happen to be trying to access that particular area of memory and that is why you dont see any other problems from other programs. This installer just happens to be accessing the bad memory address.

A couple of things that you can do. First, post a dxdiag so we can take a look at your hardware/driver setups. Use the link in my sig below if you're not sure how to do a dxdiag.

Second, as hilljack suggessted, go to www.memtest86.com and download their free memory test .iso. Burn it to a CD (creates a bootable CD), then restart your computer with the CD in your optical drive. Let the test run for an hour or two. If it finds any errors in one of your RAM modules, it will report them.
