How does attribute clearing stone work?

if i use the stone on my current weapon and later add lower tier stat would it lower my weapon tier?

i check it out on armor where first i add a set of tier 5 stat and then add a set of tier 4 stat that make my armor piece a tier 4 stat. if that is the case what is the point to use attribute cleaning stone or you can use it directly on the mana stone?

No, using an attribute cleaner to remove stats will not alter the weapon's current tier.

If you initially use higher tier Mana stones to add stats to a gear piece, then use lower tier Mana stones to add other stats to it, the tier of the piece will match those of the stones you used later. If you have to combine stats from two different tiers of Mana stones, use the lower tier ones first.

Yes it will.

If you choose to place new stats on the Staff, it will drop down to tier 5 - 6 depending on the tier of the stones (with the stats on it).

Being unable to understand the balance between tiering and statting or the real use for attribute cleaning stones does not make stone a waste. It has clearly defined purpose in the game.

Oh, and people who have more than 3 classes are clinically insane.

not really, you may find a good +16 piece of gear and then dislike the stats on it, clean it, and replace with stats you want! but a good option will be using expensivest stats first, then when you have 1/6 spaces left to stat, use stats as high tier as you can get because thats the tier the piece will be, and since 6th stat is cheapest (if you follow what i told you, use expensivest stats first) then it will be less expensive to find it higher tier
