Corrupted textures

Last patch I've been getting corrupt/bugged textures. Here's a picture

I've tried reinstalling my video card drivers, reinstalling the game, and I updated DirectX. Nothing seems to work.

Here's my dxdiag.txt http://pastebin.com/ds25vXEe

I had the same problem. What I did was installed the slim client (I had full version before), and all the textures fixed themselves.

Tried this, but it didn't work.

I just tested another game and now it's doing it in that now. Must be related to DirectX or my GPU drivers, but I have no idea what to do since I've updated both.

Hello BuzzSnapper,

Sometimes whenever a client is patched and an unstable connection (usually just a hiccup) can cause some sort of corruption.

Can you please post your DxDiag?

That fact that you have updated DirectX & your GPU drivers, it is safe to assume that the issue might not be with your rig but with a corrupt patch. I know you might not like this but if you can either reinstall your client and manually patch and see if it fixes the problem.

However, before you do that I need to make sure your DxDiag meets the requirements for RoM.

My DxDiag is in the original post. The unstable connection is a possibility. I'm not using wireless, but I'm still on a sort of shoddy connection. Manually would mean I'd have to download 10+ individual patches for a fresh install?

I'm unsure why I'm experiencing it in another game or if that means it's unrelated to the patch. And if it isn't related to the patch, why it started with RoM right after its patch.

Manually patching would indeed mean needing to download the individual patches and installing them one-by-one in order.

Other things you can try:

1. Rolling BACK your video driver to a previous version (This affecting more than one game can be a warning sign of a corrupt driver).

2. Using some form of temperature-monitoring utility to make sure your graphics card is not overheating or on its last legs.
