How To Bypass Security Error On Patch With Norton

I have norton 360 and have been looking on fourms and I heard you need to temoprary turn off your security but I dont know how to do that with Norton. Please hep.

right click your Norton icon on quick launch bar and hit disable AntiVirus Auto-Protect soon as patch is downloaded right click norton Icon again and hit enable AntiVirus-Protect your Norton icon will go from red to green and your good to go.

I would download the manual patch then turn off the router & only then disable antivirus until the patch is installed.
