Key binds not saving when changed in-game

I started playing the game that gives Wind Elements (the machine at the end of Varans bridge) and I found it easier to cast the spells by using the number keys. Before I play the game, I open my key binding settings, scroll to the extra action bar and put in 1, 2, 3 as the keys to cast wind, water and fire. After the game, I change them back, using the same 1, 2, and 3 keys as the main bar's attack keys. When I save the changes, 2 and 3 are changed back to my main attack bar, but 1 is deleted from the extra attack bar and the main attack bar. I have tried repeatedly to have 1 back on my attack bar, but it will not save. It will, however, except "number1" from the number pad (not the number row about the keyboard). The only way I've found to fix this is by closing the game, opening the key binding file in the RoM folder then restarting the game. Today I tried using 4, 5, and 6 to see if it was an issue with 1, but the same problem happened with 4 so I don't know if it's a glitch with the wind spell or the interface will not accept the first number selected for the main attack bar.


Any idea what I can do so it'll save the changes in-game?
