Serious Account handling problems

Let me start by saying I had to make a new account to write this. And if you're thinking "why not just ue this account?" It's because this email is flooded with spam and I never use it.
Now then

I had signed up under my main email address some months ago.
I felt like playing again. "Account or password error."
So I head to the site. Log in. "You have entered an invalid username or password."
So I try recovery. I get "You have not entered an email address that we recognize."
So I try again. It says "Please try again or contact the administrator."
Okay. Click. Hmm... "Please note: You either do not have permission to post in this forum section / to use this forum feature or you are not logged in."
So I guess I need to register again. "Sorry, registration has been disabled by the administrator."
So I go back to http://forum.us.runesofmagic.com/forumdisplay.php?f=272 where there is a register button.
I fill it all in and... "The following errors occurred
An account using this e-mail address already exists!"

WTF!! What is wrong with this mirror hell house?
I've bolded the key phrases here.

What account site are you using?

A common error is to use the EU site (which tends to come up on google results) - The US page is https://account.frogster-america.com

If you continue to have issues, please put in a support ticket by using the "contact support" link in my signature.

I've been using the US site. Just to check, I ran through it all again, making sure it was on US.
I've opened a ticket. I don't expect much help however. An automated response from keywords found in my complaint or, at best, a half-assed reply from someone skimming through it. I expect to be run through these same problems in their "solution."

Reply back to the ticket and let them know that it did not solve your issue, and/or that you've already tried that.

You can also PM me the ticket ID number and I'll go prod whoever's answering it. :)
