Runes of Magic US / AU

Can someone help me pls? I went to reinstall the game and have been having issues ever since. I am currently stuck patching. I made it up to 5.0.1.2557 and it keeps going to 100% 100% but then just sits there. Doesn't start applying the patch or anything. I am really going to start screaming soon cause with internet issues, it has taken three days to get to this point.

I was not sure what to do with those manual patches.. So I ran the installer again in an attempt to fix the problem... Starting all over with the first patch again.... just great..... Already over my bandwidth limit so my speed is throttled, and to make things worse, I was under a support ticket that my speed seemed to be throttled even before I was even close to my limit. I am really hoping that switching to the slim client is worth all this tech mess stress.

Well craptastic. I got all the way back to patch version 5.0.1.2557 but when the launcher started back up as that version, it went right to 100%/100% again and is just sitting there. Something is seriously wrong here. I can't get past that patch and am not sure what I am supposed to do to get around it. The launcher reads version 5.0.1.2557 so do I manually patch the one after that or do I redo that patch as something is clearly wrong and it wont update to the next?

I was just looking around in my runes folder and found version text document. It actually says I have the version 5.0.2.2561 but the launcher still has the other version number and still refuses to install....

Just took a look at my patchlog.txt and it is completely in konji. Wonder if that is the problem? Doing the last patch somehow got files from a different language so it became locked up... Should I try to manually repatch 2557 then? I am completely at a loss.. I don't know anything about this stuff.. I am really regretting switching to the slim....

Hours later. Finished downloading the next patch manually, checked the runes folder and found it was already there. clicked it. Got errors saying could not find files, extraction aborted. Moved that file, placed the newly downloaded manual version in its place, same thing happened.

Ok, so I had some problems with two of the patches, I did a manual patch and that came up with several file not found errors and unpacking failures. Relaunched the game and it would start patching again and would update. Now I have had that same problem with the final patch. I tried to manual patch it but again, files not found, unpacking failure, so I relaunched the game and wouldn't you know it starts patching again. It is now at 100%/100% of final patch and not updating.. There is nothing left I can try. If I reapply the manual patch, it is actually smaller than the one the launcher just finished. So what am I supposed to do now?

Then the updator closes.


OK... after forgetting that the launcher was still running.... hours later of sitting at 100%/100% it actually started to update and the game has finally launched with the play button lit up. 5 days after first starting to reinstall, I am back in game.. This matter can be closed now.
