Possible website issues

Hello everyone,

We are receiving information that some of you are not able to access the website and thus not able to purchase diamonds. Please inform us if you are experiencing this problem, the time the problem occurs and which browser you are using so we can fix the issue as soon as possible.

I'm having this issue with Firefox 15.0.1 at home. Tested on my work same version works fine, but at home it doesn't. Chrome works ok. And I'm receiving the following error at home / firefox

Just to add more info. Is some cookie or token you're sending to our computers. I just used same version of firefox on my other computer and worked fine.

I had a similar issue with the EU website both Firerfox and Opera, but not with IE9. I went into Opera's cookie manager, deleted the cookie(s) associated with the EU website, and all is well again.

And no, I have no explanation whatsoever why I could connect using IE9, other than it may be that IE stores its cookies in a completely different location. (I don't use IE very often, other than to test site compatibility to a limited extent.)

cant buy diamonds &amp; websites not working either

ive been trying to buy diamonds for the past 5 hours( its 1:12 a.m est now )..when i click on "recharge diamonds" i get this

also i tried to send in a "support" ticket about this issue and that website wont come up either....

also....though not quite as time sensitive ..ive been trying to read the new info on "riddle me this" and i cant bring up the page...


this is the 3rd time ive tried to buy diamonds (i dont know why i bother tho) with the past few diamond sales and ive had problems buying them....

The URL for the US RoM home page is: http://us.runesofmagic.com/us/home.html Bookmark it.

If you keep getting the error when using the above URL, the best solution is to clear your cookies--the one for the US RoM website may be corrupted.

I don't use Firefox regularly, but clearing your History in it may work.

Just wanted to make sure you know the issue is still happening, getting this error:

on line 173

If I switch to "in private" browing mode in IE or clear the cookies, it works again... unless I use the "remember me" option when I sign in, then next time I come back to website it is broken again. So something in the auto-login-from-cookie code I assume.

thought i should paste thread of last issue

Well I am able to reach the site for purchasing diamonds, however the option to use the Fast Card is not available. I have used several browsers to no avail. I actually tried to use the Canada option that was suggested in a previous thread post (oct 2012) and still no go. Any suggestions?

Fastcard is not an available payment method for US Reni PVE and I would like to redeem my $25 Fastcard I recently bought from Walmart. Please inform me how I go about doing so.

This seems to be related to or is the same problem that happened back in August, and will require that Gamepay make the correction. There's nothing that we--RoM/Gameforge--can do directly to fix it.

I would suggest, if it's at all possible, that you use another payment option with which to buy your diamonds. If you don't have access to a credit/debit card or PayPal, then use either Zeevex or Ultimate Game Cards, instead.

But hang onto your existing RoM Fastcards, they're not going to expire and can be used at a later date.

Yes, those are the cards which are affected. There should be a RoM Fastcard button to the left of the SMS purchase button, but it's no longer there. This is an issue which Gamepay has to correct on their end. Gameforge cannot fix it.

I've been having this issue, but sporadically. One day it works fine in either Chrome or IE 8. The next day it's one or the other. Today it's neither.

I'm getting the "fatal error: call to undefined method ..." message when I try to access the website.

Fortunately, the forums are still accessible.

Hope this issue gets resolved soon.

That is a completely different issue, Tulliana, having to do with corrupted cookies or corruptions in your browser's cache. Clear your cookies and cache and it should clear up.
