No, I do not mean the random pink text that we've had since the last patch, I mean I cannot see (guild/party/whisper/zone/world) chat, system messages, xp/tp earned, items that drop into my bags, refining/gathering messages...nothing. This has happened as of the maintenance done on 1/8/2013. Before that it was fine, the same broken random pink text everyone else had, but at least I had chat. I have tried re-logging, rebooting, refreshing, swapping character, removing the character file saved in "My Documents". I doubt it is an addon as it worked before the maintenance and now does not, I have not added any new addons or done any updates on any. I also tried right clicking each tab to make sure the settings on each tab allowed for the viewing of the types of chat I usually allow. Again, they were set correctly to allow all the chat that I cannot see. The only thing I can see is if someone whispers me, their chat bubble pops up on the right and I see what they say briefly, but when I pop the bubble open to view it, the chat vanishes and I can no longer see the conversation. I can see what is said in "Say" if I am in front of the person, but it does not pop up in the chat window, only out the top of the person's head in the speech bubble. Please fix this or tell me how I can fix this.
