Fix Reni please!

I can log onto artemis just fine, but when i try to log onto Reni it crashes right after the character screen. Anyone else have this problem? :mad:

First off, try deleting the folder with your character's name under Documents\Runes of Magic - this could be the cause of your problem, and is by far the easiest fix. This is a hidden folder, so you may have to turn on "Show hidden folders" before you can see it.

If you delete this folder and still cannot log in to Reni, you will need to contact Support and ask them to move your character. This, however, can take some time.

If I cannot log into AU server on my toon, can I get moved to a US server? .. please .. XD

Clever, and I must admit I was not thinking in that manner. Support moves the character to the last set recall position, though, not across servers.

Moving his character wont do a damn thing; He can log on to his toon via my Computer and I've already used Teamviewer to delete that hidden folder. didn't help. Reni just hates him.

If that's the case, then his game client likely has a corrupted texture at the location he's at on Reni, hence the instant-crash. Moving his character would resolve it until he returns to the same area, but the only long-term fix is a game client reinstall.

You could try right clicking on Runes of magic folder look at previous versions and make it go back a week or two and then re-patch?

This would, however, depend entirely on the zone he's experiencing the crash in, and could introduce other client instabilities.

im in chrysalia, i was on for awhile. then guildys were saying people where getting PK'd so i tried to switch to ch1, then crash. ive had trouble logging ever since the lv77 patch. never had problems before...just the occasional crash like normal.
