Can log into forums and website but not the game.

Hey I'm trying to figure something out. I created this account around a year ago and then I stopped playing in the early summer. I had to uninstall RoM because I was getting rid of the computer it was on. I want to try it out again but I cannot log into my account in the game. I can log into the website and the forums just fine with the same account and log in info (password, user name). I have tried to go to support but I can't log into the gameforge support system because it does not recognize my log in info even though the same info works for the RoM website. Also I am trying to log into the browser version. I tried downloading the game via the gameforge client but it was not downloading anything. It was just sitting on 0% so I'm trying out the browser. Not sure if this changes anything. I have a different account that I made today that logs into the browser client thing and RoM website just fine. This is pretty frustrating. :mad:

Until then I guess I will have to use my new account. :mad:

Also I am logging into (or trying to) the right servers. My account is on the US servers and those are the ones I am trying to log into.

The Customer Support website doesn't automatically accept the same credentials as the main site - you have to register there before you can log in. You can choose to use the same username & password or different combination if you prefer, just be sure to use the same email address as your game account.

Since you're having trouble with the GameforgeLive installer, you could try the alternative download links provided by Inferiority - see the 5.0.5 Client link in my signature.
Make sure you configure the Region/Language to log in to the US servers as I believe the default is the European servers.

The browser version of RoM is currently only available to the European servers which is why your US account info won't let you log in.

Hi Voridin,

you'll have to register a new account in our support system. Please use the same eMailadress you use for your account.

When you can login to the website you should have the possibilty to change your password - did you try if you can login with a new one?
