Diamond Issue

Okay so I need to talk to someone about this. During the 140% sale I can atest to the fact that my account would not let me make any diamond purchases, I went to confirm order my game would always freeze. Who do i see to talk to about getting the deal extended as the site was broken (real suprising -.-) so that i can get my diamonds on sale instead of for the ridiculous price they normally are.

I had the same problem. Then it finally said Order complete. But I've never gotten them :/

Unfortunately, I don't have sufficient information from either of you to work with. Can you give me a detailed description of the purchase process you went through? How you got to the Recharge Diamonds page, package selection, payment type, and so on.

Trin, if you tried to go through the game client to get to Recharge Diamonds, well, it's unfortunately broken for the US game. It redirects to the EU website. You can get to the US site from there, but it can be hard for people to see how it's done. But, your description of the game client freezing/crashing makes it sound that this is the route you tried to take.

Palin, in your case, and depending on if it's a first-time purchase, or a first-time purchase using PayPal, it can take up to 48 hours for diamonds to appear in your game account. Or, sometimes, you have to relog for them to show up. Again, it can depend on the payment type.

Please post the information that you can, and I'll see what I can recommend. But I can't give you any direct assistance.

I would use the recharge diamonds circle from the US game launcher and it would direct me to enter my account, then also pick my server. I did that, and chose a 50 dollar package (worth roughly 3.7k at the time of purchase). I entered in all my info for my Mastercard. I would go to complete my purchase and my computer would completely freeze. minutes later it would unfreeze, and the page will say can't be displayed. Tried it multiple times and nothing. I tried this 10 times, and I dont like to cause a fuss but I tried to buy diamonds at the time of the sale and because Gameforges stuff doesnt work I lost out. Its not incorrect of me to expect compensation where I get the full deal price. ( I of course agree to pay, dont expect it free)

I do not know why your computer would freeze up during the transaction completion phase. I simply don't have an answer for that.

I did go so far as to check using the RD link on the game launcher. The link works correctly, and takes you to the Recharge Diamonds page related to the Region/Language settings in the launcher--US, EU, or AU. From there, I logged into one of my accounts, but did not go so far as to actually try and make a purchase.

I'd like to know a few more things. Which browser are you using? Can you check with MC to see if any of the transactions went through at all? Charges to your card should be marked as to either Gameforge or to Moneybookers. Also, have you checked the email address linked to your forum/game account to see if you've received one or more from Moneybookers? Were you using an MC credit or debit card? If the latter, you'll have to check with your bank.

If there are no transactions listed on your CC account with either Gameforge or Moneybookers, then there's really nothing that we can do. I am going to suggest that even if you go to the Support site--link in my signature below--Support is likely to tell you that since there were no purchases logged, they cannot let you purchase a diamond package now with the 140% bonus applied.

If that ends up being the case, I'm really sorry that whatever caused the technical difficulty damaged things for you.

Simply, the java/php code can hang the browser. Mine does often, so if it doesn't work on IE I try again on Firefox, if it doesn't work on that I try Chrome. And I also suspect virus checkers or browser security settings, as pages that redirect that are flagged for secure connections can often lead virus checkers to slow things down.

Their problems are not uncommon, I hear people in Teamspeak and Ventrillo often with the same problems, and those that do not get their diamonds right away usually don't get them at all. One of our guild members is still waiting for gameforge to sort out a credit card transaction from nearly 12 months ago where her bank statement says the money was taken but she still has not got the diamonds.

So for those two effected here, next time it happens I suggest disable the virus checker or at least change the security settings to default, or try a different browser.
