Runes of Magic - Client version

Earlier I was trying to play on the client, but it requests I enter my e-mail and password.

Is this talking about the e-mail we registered our account with since day 1?
And is the password any different from the one we would normally log on with in the downloaded version?

Thanks!

The game client does not ever require your email address.

If you are referring to the borwser version of the game, it currently only supports the EU servers and has been disabled at present due to technical difficulty.

Is there no way to play other than to download RoM via Gameforge then?

I'm mainly concerned because I would like to be able to play on a Mac. However, I have no idea how to do so.

If you do not like the GameforgeLive client, you can try downloading from the links provided by Inferiority. See the link in my signature.

I believe Bootcamp (?) will allow you to install Windows which will then allow you to play RoM.

That's how I do it. It's possible to fit Win7 and RoM on a 64GB partition, but you'll probably want a bit more -- that's tight enough that the RoM launcher sometimes complains it doesn't have enough space to patch.

Perhaps using Windows XP might be better?
