why was my post deleted

i posted in osha marketplace that i was looking to sell my gear why did it get deleted wtf. Im not selling an account im selling my gear. WTF WTF WTF is wrong with you people. The only fast response you can get in this game is a deleted post. Not getting bugs fixed not asking for help nothing like that but delete my post about selling sets of gear. I want an explanation. ive made about three posts in the three years ive been playing rom. Only post stuff when its worth posting. i dont troll or whatever. Why would you delete my post. Am i mistaken are you not supposed to sell gear in the forum section labled marketplace? I dont get it. What rules could i have possibly broken. How does deleting my post benifit anyone. Do you have nothing better to do? I WANT A $*%&#(% EXPLANATION. I WANT MY POST UN DELETED. people can troll all day a complain about stuff and blame this that and whoever but i cant sell my gear. In other news i still havent gotten a response from the ticket i sent in when you could exchange poms for shells and the npc robbed me. That was months ago. But in less than 24 hours my post can get deleted with no explanation reason or motive. Id like to know who deleted it to. private message me. So i can send some feedback to whoever runs this company about how great thier forum mods are. Thanks rom for runing my expience with the game again. I use the forum only when nessasary to avoid all the flame wars and trolling and derailed topics and now look what you have made me do. I havent logged in to rom in almost three months and now here i am raging mad and posting something in the forum that has absoultly no relevant information to anyone. What were you selling your gear for? Gold - ok, zeevex - disallowed, dollars - you will likely get banned.

I moderate on a forum and i have accidentally deleted a legit post before.heck i have deleted my own posts ,all it takes is i split aecond distraction an have my eyes move from the screen. REPOST IT if it gets deleted a second time it would seem that it is breaking a forum rule.

I didn't delete your post but I did report it.

If you cannot log into game as your PC cannot handle the game, how are you going to sell any gear? Everything about your post, even if you did not mean it to, shouted loudly 'selling my account for real money'. So such posts imho should not be allowed as even if you are honest but unable to correctly express yourself, as it means that others who want to cheat are also allowed to post their stuff for sale in a manner against the ToS.

You may also want to look at the forum rules abut questioning moderation and politeness.

On another game forum yes i did . I put in a long day then while trying to delete a post that broke forum rules i clicked the wrong box because my son asked me a question and i looked at him to answer and clicked the wrong post.
I did however figure it out after 20 minutes.

How about coming to the US forums to be an annoyance you do it on your own countries forums where your siggy says you play.. If something about a post is unclear then ask the OP to provide more detail. Don't be a moron and report his post because you clearly don't understand it. If that is too difficult then perhaps you should just stay away from US forums

I don't recall seeing your post, but it's possible that one of the forum mods or Mentors thought it was questionable due to its content. After all, selling accounts themselves (even if you weren't entirely clear about it) is a violation of the Terms of Service for RoM. And related to that, selling in-game items for RL money or Zeevex tokens is also a ToS violation. Again, you may not have been crystal clear about that.

KatalanOrk did have a point. If you're unable to log into the game with the computer you're now using (for whatever reason), how on earth (or Taborea) would you be able to sell your gear? Again, seems a bit suspicious, which might be why your post was disappeared. I dunno. Perhaps it's just my suspicious Spidey-sense tingling here...

And finally, instead of just raging about how you're being repressed, or that "The Man" is keeping you down, take your own advice:

Act like an adult (and learn how to use paragraph breaks, for God's sake!) and perhaps you'll be treated as an adult.

I'm stepping before this escalates any further.

The original post was removed because it was vague enough for me to read it as ingame stuff being sold for cash (with the added possibility of a scam) which is a violation of the TOS/EULA.

However, due to it's vagueness, I just silently removed the post in the hope that you would re-post it but make it a bit more clear what your intentions were.

KatalanOrk was right to report the post as well. Furthermore, it matters not what side of the Atlantic a player originates or plays. There are several Europeans taking an active participation within the US community & I welcome their input. (See YomanROM's content or Inferiority's game client download mirrors.)

Now, a decent explanation in the post above as to why the original post actually was removed has been given by Malignatus (thank you for using your brain) and as such, I'll close this thread to prevent the need to tear out my hair any further.
