So I was Doing Dailys in ARK and decided to go see if Krolin was up because I was bored. As soon as I got to his circle I lagged out and crashed.. he wasn't up at first... Now each time I log in that character I crash before I get through the loading screen, I hear the little ding warning meaning worldboss is near... then bomb game crashes.

I've tried turning all the graphics off, sound off, have Nothing running in the back ground, and I still crash at the loading screen. Ive loaded the game on a brand new desktop computer and tried logging in on that computer and still crash with all graphics turned off.

A guildy was going to go over to kill him but lagged out also... however he was able to turn off all the graphics and log back in and move away from the area. Any other way to get the toon moved from that area?

On the Artemis Server, so I cant change channels cause thers only 1 for whatever reason....

Lag around Krolin has been an issue for a long time. I used to gather in that area and when I got near that area, even if he wasn't up, my frames would drop to almost zero. Leaving the area my frames would jump back up. Even now if I run anywhere on that part of that map I can guarantee a crash. All you can do about getting your toon moved is send a ticket to support and see if what they can/will do.

This doesn't sound like an issue with a glitched character (savevariables.lua file in the character folder), so what Ziav said is true. You will need to contact Support and ask them to move your toon out of the immediate area of Krolin.

If you don't already have a Support account, you will need to create one when you first visit the portal. If you do have a Support account but haven't used it in the past couple of months, you will need to re-create it. Either way, use the email address that's linked to your game account when creating/registering your Support account.

In your ticket, you will need to include your game account name, server, the name of the affected character, and the zone (Ancient Kingdom of Rorizan). If possible, include the approximate co-ordinates where your character is in the zone. Also describe the issue as precisely as you can, and ask Support to manually move your character to the nearest Resurrection Shrine, which should be the one between Banrioch and Aeternal Circle..

Do be patient, it may take Support somewhat longer to respond than usual, due to the Recent Hack/Dupe Unpleasantness.

We went to run by Krolin and bam crashed. When we try to log back in, immediate crash. Everyone be careful when going near him. It looked like Krolin was attacking NPCs, don't know if this has an effect on it or not. Just a forwarning, Artemis beware. Now our characters are stuck there, not able to log back in.

I had this happen on Reni a few weeks back.

I sent a ticket to support. They can move your character to somewhere not there, like the Alliance Camp or OS or even Varanas.

Luckily, I waited until the next day and everything was fine (and he was up).

This use to happen all the time on palenque but it would only happen in a certain channel,.

yeah now we only have the one channel. I guess support ticket time, cause I gave it some time and still an issue.
