The RoM game client installs with Region/Language settings set for Europe.
Hit that big red button on the game launcher, change it to USA and you should be fine.

It is the most common problem we encounter this daily so that is why is the first thing we think of
make sure if you use GF live launcher that it is set to US too here is a guide to get started

Account or Password error - Selecting the correct region

get stuck at obtaining server and or when able to log in get booted right back off when ping keeps rising internet connection is good exception added in firewall and when running a ping test with server it is intermittent with 0%-100% packet losses.

I am able to log the servers and i don't see anyone having problems right now if you still are having issues please contact our Support

I am in a similar situation. The problem is 1 of the hops your computer takes to reach the server is bad. Nothing The GMs can do about it. Last time this happened to me, it took 4 days for the problem to get fixed. Your only option is to wait and check a couple times a day. It is not a problem that runes of magic has any control over.

Getting massive lag spikes on rom that haven't stop for the past couple days. I've talked to my ISP and they don't know whats wrong. I've reset my modem, i've trying Ipconfig release/renew for IPv4 and IPv6 and nothing worked. Please help.

Been getting kicked out to log in screen at least 15 times now between 2 different characters, Zenrage/Nirvasa, 1 on each US server. and crashed at least 5 times in siege war today after barely having crashed during a siege all year, my net has been fine all day. GG me.

make that 20+ times, 4 of which being in the last hour or so.

Still happening today just as i logged in. Internet provider confirmed my net has been stable. A few other mentioned having the same issues just starting in the past 24 hours.

I can confirm what Nirvasa is saying, got guildies on the west coast, east coast and Central that are getting disconnected upon logging into the game. I've had random crashes and disconnects but not upon logging myself like them at least. This might need to be looked upon tyvm.

Magio's siege video last night shows the freezing spikes well (first time at 9:30 in the video) . Happened to Him/Kaysia and I all at the same time multiple times, and we are all in very different regions. Started for me friday night, hasnt let up since at a rate of hitting 50k ping roughly 2-3 times an hour, sometimes booting me to log in, sometimes not.
