"Account or password error" - at login screen

I load up the game, run the patcher, hit play. The game loads up just fine, once in the game and at the login screen. I type in my username & password and every time I get an error message that says "Account or password error" and that's it. No more detail or anything.

I'm new to the game and just made my account. I tried the account name I made and the email I used as well. I typed in the password correct. I tried using the on-screen keyboard to type it in as well and still no luck. I made sure to confirm my account via email before logging in. Not sure what else to do to fix this short of re-installing. Any ideas?


EDIT: I just fixed the problem! Didn't realize I was trying to connect to the Europe region. I changed it to USA in the launcher and now it's connecting just fine!
