Yeah, but it doesn't happen all at once. I can't get back in, so they're doing something - kicking the servers most likely.

Then we haveta wait awhile after they come back up for all zones to follow suit and return

Servers are all down again. Is there even an idea as to why this problem keeps happening? Seems that at least once a week house and guild castle zones are unavailable and there are server issues more and more often. Maybe it would be wise to focus efforts on correcting these kinds of issues and other bugs that have been reported over and over before adding new content and raising lvl caps. But that is just a thought. Hope things get resolved soon.

Is it worse that I feel used to this or that it doesn't bother me that much?

At least as soon as they find out there's a problem they get to it and get the game up and running again - better than some games I've played lol.

Been trying to log into the game and it isn't working. After I enter the acct and password I get the Terms page again all greyedout. I tried about 8 times and nothing even tho the servers r supposedly up. Did I miss something? In indigo server.

It doesnt seem to be server related as the error you are encountering is happening immediately after you log in but before you can select a server, which also rules out a graphics card relation as well since the ToS can be accepted the first time but reappears after login, I recommend restarting your pc to see if that will resolve the issue. If that doesnt work then please reply with your...

client launcher type -- Gameforge Live or Standard RoM Launcher
original client version -- 3.0 - 4.0 - 5.0 - 6.0 (not your current version, the version it was when you first downloaded that specific launcher)

It might be necessary to do a full reinstall using the Manual Downloads found here > Manual Downloads for 6.0.1

If you do need to reinstall there is a way to download the game faster than normal by downloading all of the manual files at the same time but first lets try to fix your issue without going all out on a reinstall

About Osha only having 1 channel:

I have posted the reason why Osha has only 1 channel somewhere already and cannot for the life of me find it now to quote it.

Basically, there is a technical reason for Osha having only 1 channel at present. Channels 2 and 3 will return at some point in the future.

First of all ty for replying so fast. Well rebooting the computer didn't do anything. i'm using the slim version of RoM: 6.0.3.2672.en which is current I guess. How am I suppose to know what was the original luncher version or could it be "Runes_of_Magic_5.0.0.2535_slim"?

So now what to do??

Lets try several things all at the same time to rule out addons or savedvariables as the cause

Go to your Runes of Magic program folder, open the Interface folder, grab the folder named Addons, move it to your desktop...

Then navigate to your Documents folder and find the folder there also named Runes of Magic and move that to the desktop as well... (the Runes of Magic folder is a hidden folder, if you can not see it then follow the directions below to make it visible)

Directions For Showing Hidden PC Files
1. while in your documents folder press ALT + t
2. click folder options at the bottom of the list that opened in step 1
3. you will see a page with 3 tabs... click the tab "View"
4. in that list find a subsection labeled "Hidden Files and Folders" and select "Show Hidden Files, Folders, and Drives"
5. press APPLY then OK
-- you should now see your Runes Of Magic folder inside the Documents Folder

Before you start... save a copy of those folders somewhere safe and remember, DO NOT delete those 2 folders as you might be able to salvage them later.

After you have moved those 2 folders to your desktop, attempt to run the game again and see if you can log in and play.

1.) if you problem is resolved with those files removed then start by putting only the hidden RoM folder back where it goes and check again
- - - A) - if the problem returns, remove that folder and check again, however if the problem is still resolved with the Hidden RoM folder where it belongs then go to step (1.B)
- - - B) - if the problem is still resolved, replace your addons 1 at a time and recheck each time you add an addon to find out which one is causing the issue
- - - - - - (either remove or update that addon)

2.) if you run into the same problem without those folders then you should keep both of those folders in a safe place and do a full re-install of the latest client then after you finish installing, login once to verify it worked.
- - - (if successful then close the game completely and then put those folders back where you got them from... Play On!)

The last released slim version was between 4.0 and 5.0 if im not mistaken and that means there will most likely be corrupted data in your client files from adding patch after patch for that long. Around the release of 5.0, the slim client was discarded because it wasnt so slim anymore. To keep your client running as smooth as possible its best to reinstall to the newest client launcher, dont forget the steps above though, saving those before a reinstall will allow you add them back in to your newest client and save all of you addon/UI settings as well... (always keep updated backups of your hidden RoM folder and your addons)

Sounds like the usual sticky ToS - or at least I find it typical after maint lol.

Dunno how any game but the main download is set up for login, nor how screen res may affect it, but for me the sticky ToS reappears on the toon selection screen and is parked dead center where the toon preview would be and completely covers that area. - I can choose toons for that account but cannot switch accounts without rebooting the game as it doesn't go away after that point and covers the login info box. I *can* fill in the secondary password above it and get logged in the first time though - for me it doesn't block the login/password areas til after that gets filled out.

Good news is, for me at least, it tends to clear itself after a relatively short period of time.

Want to check why AU has one channel while your at it? Entire server has been 1 channel since the beginning of chapter 4, also AU cannot access portable Auction House. Its blocked while on US servers you can get it.

Just as a note, if you are saying ALL servers are down... you might just want to try to actually log into them before saying that. I have been on Reni all day, from about noonish on and only had to relog when I was porting and crashed. I had no issues getting back in when it did happen either. So just because YOUR server is down, doesn't mean they ALL are.
