Incorrect account name or password?

Returning to the game after a hiatus and I come to find that once I change my password (forgot it ages ago) I can't log into my account in the game? It says "Account or password error". What is this nonsense?

From every Facebook post I've seen so far, it looks as though GameForge is flubbing up with their servers almost every single week. On top of that, when it happens, GameForge can't do anything without running back to Runewaker.

I've already checked my client country as US and my account is registered to US.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Just downloaded the game client and patches for the first time within the last 24 hours. Hubby can log on to everything except support. I can log on here and main site but not game or support. Pulling hair out so we can play together but not sure if it is really worth the hassle if it is going to be an ongoing problem.

Check your REGION settings on the launcher is set to US.

The Customer Support website operates on a different account system than the main website and you need to register there using the same email address as your game account.
