Unable to log into the game

Hello,

I am new to this game I have a few friends that want me to play. I just created an account and am now having problems logging in to the game. I put in the correct details and I receive the "Account or password error", if there is a solution for this any help would be appreciated. Or at least direct me to the correct place to register an account, this whole website is misleading and is not very user friendly.

There are 2 checks you should do as these are most likely what is stopping you from logging in, first one is verfiy you signed up on the US website... if you are positive you did then the next step is to open your client launcher

When its open, at the bottom to the right of the play button is Region/Language, click on that and choose USA then press ok, wait for your launcher to reload itself then start the game and log in.

If that works, Happy Gaming, if not then please let me know and there are more things we can attempt to get you started

remember to type both your name and password exactly the same as you did when signing up as they are case-sensitive fields, also the correct place to sign up is http://us.runesofmagic.gameforge.com click on Log In or Top-Up Diamonds and try to log in there with your info, dont buy diamonds if you dont want them, its simply to check if you signed up in the correct region. let me know how that goes

I am having a problem with just about everything at this point. The e-mail I registered with is giving me an error saying the email does not exist. I am unable to log in to the game with the account details I just recently registered. I think I will just create a new email account and start all over again. I did everything correctly but for some reason is just not working for me. I have no logical reason why this is, but it is quite frustrating. Thank you for your help. I will eventually get this to work.

after you register you are sent a confirmation email with a link inside that will verify your account signup, if that email didnt show up then there is a good chance you may have simply entered your email incorrectly. however if you did get the email then try doing a reset password and you should be all set to log into the game and website with the password you receive and you can change that password when you have the time

This is definitely a Region Settings issue.

If you set your Region on the launcher to Europe or Australia and can log in then your account is registered for the European or Australian servers.
To play on the US servers, you will need to register a new account here, and it will need to be done with a different email address.
