Runes of Magic US / AU

You said your on an English server, firstly which server is it. You need to check your on the right region, either US or EU, then at log in change your region to the 1 your registered with, try that first, I'm UK based but play on the US servers so had to change to that region to play, you will also need to check if your forum is on the same region as you won't be able to purchase diamonds either if set to wrong region, hope this helps

Whilst I agree with everything else lytol1639 said, the bit above is complete rubbish. THe forum is maintained separately from your main account.

What is the problem with the original account? Perhaps we can help you get that sorted out...

this i know but did need to point out, yes i know forum accounts are seperate I just was pointing out you need to be on same region to access both game region & forums sorry if I wasn't to clear

I'm going to try and be as complete with this as I can, so bear with me a bit.

If you made the account here on the US website, you will have to adjust your client region setting to USA. Since you've already activated the account, you're ready to go with your game account as soon as you change your region setting. You cannot use this account to play on the EU servers.

However, if you wanted instead to play on the EU servers, you will have to create an account here: http://en.runesofmagic.gameforge.com/news/index This is the English-language page. Unfortunately, you will need to create a new email account to use there, as the system will not allow you to use an email account which is already linked to another RoM account in a different region. Do that, register an account on the EU site, respond to the authorization email, and then make sure your client's region and language settings are EU/English.

Same problem. How do I change the server region to be US?

Edit: There's a button next to configuration that allows one to change it. This is not the flags and the word REGION: at the bottom right.
