Can't buy diamonds... again. Mobile number?

Ok, after the requirements changed for logging into the website I created a new account mainly for the purpose of buying diamonds (not this account). Everything has been fine and I have purchased diamonds several times on that account but tonight when I went to buy the form looked a lil different and I am suddenly being asked for a mobile number. I wouldn't give that even if I had one, which I do not.

Why the flip am I suddenly being asked for something like that now and is there a way around it?

I have the exact same problem. Dionaea told me it was my bank, and my bank told me it was the processor in UK. Never got it working again. Now I buy Zeevex..

I know absolutely nothing has changed about my card or my bank status between the last time I bought dias (which should have been the last sale actually, that 100% one they slipped in) and tonight.

They just really don't seem to want my money around here :P

Open a second browser tab then log into the main website on that tab, After you log in on the main website, come back to this thread and click this link to make sure you are going to the correct Diamond Purchasing page... http://us.runesofmagic.gameforge.com/user/payment , verify the link on the server selection page is the exact same as the link you just clicked and that you are not on the wrong countries page. When choosing your payment option make sure you are not clicking "Pay by Cell".

If the error is still occurring then clear your browser's cache and cookies, then try again, if it fails again then try another browser.

I checked 2 different pc's with different internet connection types, Cable/DSL and each one worked correctly while using Firefox web browser.

Ok, this is weird still

First time I tried that way it errored as if I had entered incorrect info - double checked, tried again and it processed

but it did NOT go forward to my password protect like it always has - my card has a password protect on it through my bank and paying from here has always gone through to that before payment was complete


but yes, I did get my dias that time thank you

I have the US site bookmarked and always used the same bookmark and had double checked the url which was http://us.runesofmagic.gameforge.com/user/payment as well - looking at the other tab


ah well, at least it worked - thanks for the help

It was most likely caused by an old corrupted cached file or corrupted cookie in your Browser, clearing them and restarting the browser usually fixes most errors you may encounter with most websites.
