Diamond purchase issues

I've received an e-mail this morning from GF support after I submitted a ticket about a diamond purchasing issue I had during the 140% sale. And It's saying that my "billing" account has been locked for security reasons and is now asking me to MAIL or Fax a photo copy of my id and PayPal personal page to an office in GERMANY(obviously I am located in the US, bit of a distance). So, basically what I am asking here is if there is anyway of perhaps E-mailing proof that the money was sent to Gameforge and receive my diamonds?

I think the best way to handle this is to continue with the ticket already established and request that they have you attach it in an email or something else. Seems a bit silly to send a post to Germany. By the time they get it and process it it'll be the next diamond sale already. And fax is an extremely outdated technology and not many people have the ability to send faxes).

I apologize any inconvenience this may present but we can not assist you with support tickets on the forums, it is best that you stay in contact with billing support and direct any questions you may have regarding your ticket to them.

As for the fax, I'm sure support would not mind if you emailed the info but it is still best to double check with the person handling your ticket before you send ANY personal info.

Also please verify that it is actually a "Genuine" support ticket and not a random phishing scam of any kind.

To verify it is a real response, below are 2 things you should do.
  • Log into your support account and make sure that the ticket number there matches the ticket number in the email you received.
  • You will also find a "Key" and "Checksum" in that email, click this link --> Ticket History and enter the info required on that page to view your ticket and any responses you have sent/received.

You can never be too careful with your personal info.

I hope you get everything sorted out and that you also receive your diamonds as well.
