Configuration Settings aren't saved.

Every time I log in, I have to go into the settings and set the resolution and volumes. Apparently, it keeps going back to the default settings every time. Is there a way I can make the changes permanent? An .ini file I can edit or something? It's rather irritating to have my ears blown out by the music being full blast in my headphones, too.

Here is a fix for the settings issue, follow the steps below.... (this "should" fix the saved settings issue)

* Before applying this fix, please make sure your Client and Client Launcher are both completely closed.

** After applying this fix, log in > edit your settings > close the client > re-open the client >>> That way you can verify that the fix worked for you.

1. Locate and open your Runes of Magic folder in your program files.
2. Once inside your Runes of Magic folder, go down near the bottom of the folder and find the file "RuneDev.ini"
3. Open "RuneDev.ini" and at the top of the file insert these 2 lines...

The first 5 lines in your RuneDev.ini file should now look like this...

[Locale]

Everything from ( [Server] or [Locale] ) and below should still be the same, there is no need to edit those areas.

i had same issue but once i changed the setting from configuration on the launcher before i hit the start button they all saved perma. im sure Majik's way works too but i think this is easier lol
