As far as I remember back when I started here in Chapter 3-4, there was never a "Forgot Password" option directly in game. I could be wrong, but it's not something I remember.
As for the gold spammers - you are correct, they have never stopped, and it's likely that nothing ANY game can do can make them stop forever, but we have taken steps to try or suppress them, such as how you mentioned, removing the diamonds from the Auction House. That solved the problem it set out to do - removing the ability for the gold spammers to spam over world chat using megaphones bought with diamonds on the Auction House. Note: I've not seen a single gold spammer in world chat since, so removing the diamonds from the AH solved the problem that it was intended to solve.
As for your support account and game account - it is done this way to protect your game account. We cannot access your game account information through the forums, nor can we with your support account. To receive support you must file a ticket using your support account. Make sure you're registering for your support account here:
