Can i run Runes of Magic at a decent playable rate?

So im not very good with computers at all as in like the insides of it. So i was wondering if my computer could play good or not. I seem to meet all the recommended requirements but idk if my cpu is worse or better or just as good or what? So if somebody could answer me i'd appreciate it?(:

I run a Core2Duo E8400 3.0Ghz overclocked to 4.0Ghz and I run circles around most Core i7's. CPU clock speed is most important with this game. Good RAM (I have 6GB) and you should be ok.

You'll be able to play just fine.

You won't have the settings maxxed out in any way whatsoever, but I don't think any of us do.

Just play around with them until you find which settings you find look nice enough but be warned that some of the more NPC-crowded areas can cause your fps to drop for a short time whilst they all load.

Most people aren't playing rom for the graphics anyway, there is much better looking games anyway, so just drop all to low and you should ne ok!

You literally can't play this game on max settings, the client won't be stable if you try.

Your CPU is fine, the other 2 factors would be RAM and video card. If you are using integrated, you will have to lower your resolutions. If you are using a dedicated video card that is situated for gaming then the defaults are usually ok.

I run the game at max settings and have no real issues and i have 7 clients running. The only time i have issues are in siege or Grotto hardmode 1st boss and that's it. You might have some issues when servers get DDoS but apart from that, i do not have that many issues.

It also depends of the internet supplier or connection you have, hope it helps, have fun

I use to play rom on minimum graphics on a $200 8 year old laptop. Now that I built a gaming desktop PC for upwards of $2000 in total costs, rom runs in more fps yes, but it crashes more then it ever did before, even if I try playing it on a crappy laptop again :p But for the most part RoM is stable with the right setup, and the graphics are truly much better then everyone gives them credit to be when played on max.

Hopefully the merge of server will bring us a more stable mega server with all funds to running it being pumped into just the one server :o
