RoM Housing Still Down

Do we have any kind of ETA for the in-game houses to go back online? As a player who was gone for 2 years and came back last Friday, I'm especially troubled with this, as everything a new toon needs is in storage boxes spread through a few toons.

No, we do not have an ETA. If we get one, or if a solution is implemented, we will definitely say so.

Support waits as anxiously as the players.

They'd rather have a diamond sale rather than fix the houses.

Wonder what stuff will be missing? And ROM's empty promise to return things.

It's just another nail in the coffin

Checked again today Tuesday houses still down. Guess the people who can fix things are not back from their long weekends yet. Probably will put off bothering to look at it until maintenance this week .

ARG. Well it's better then not being to play, but gosh darn, housing is a big aspect of RoM, and I am not the only "recently returned" player who's got storage issues because we didn't have time to re-organize before being locked out.

Or maybe, just maybe, they put off maintenance until Thursday to allow time to figure out how to fix the issue and test the fix.

It's awfully funny how people want gf to fix it.has anyone considered that we need the game developers to fix it rather than the publisher?
Don't get me wrong here I want it fixed too as I have some gear to make.but come on people give a little bit of time to get fixed.

Am concerned about the housing problem myself. The homeless have started camping out in lower west and having not had access to a shower or bath are starting to be a little aromatic.

Quick, cast a few "Cleanse" on them! And if they still stink, well, there is always "Rising Tide".

As for the houses, I appreciate opportunity to shift the blame for killing my houseplants onto GF. Yay, lockdown!

If there's this much trouble fixing houses and takes this long to fully fix and only release partial content from the patch over 7 weeks ago now, I hold no hope in my heart whatsoever for how well "The Great Server Merges" will go.

That is going to be a painstakingly long and dreadful experience for players and GM's alike.

It is not the patch that causes this by itself . The problems are often traced to the events within the patch. The events that have resulted in many of the same problems the last time they were released are released again without fixing the problems within the events so when the event comes around again it is usually accompanied by the problems that were not fixed last time. Look back into the old threads and you will find the same complaints about the events every time they are released.

That's because many people love blaming festivals for bugs.... Just saying.... However, since you brought up the point about the previous threads, before the patch was out, I was forum searching for anything about the festival... and... I saw nothing about people complaining that houses were breaking due to this festival. Only complaining that it broke siege. But by all means, they didn't fix that, now did they? Siege isn't breaking, even though a lot of people don't like all of the changes they did to siege to make it more difficult.

Anyway you look at it poor Code is Poor!!!!!

The Fact that almost every Festival change brings with it bugs/glitches etc....the festivals I do like some of them but they are a true headache for the players as well as the staff.

Not having access to house and all the benefits starts to weigh on the motivation to play, or spend on the game. I have no doubt they will fix it, when????....no one seems to know.

Guess Thysdyr the Frostmoon Beast is pissed and taking revenge for so many missed years of destruction and chaos.

Well I hope you can add Backpack Tickets and Bank Space Tickets as part of the gifts to keep us going. The buff npc's will be nice but already having storage issues without access to all the storage that has already been paid for.....so much junk is bound and inventory issues abound without knowing what I want to keep or discard without access to all of my inventory.

Or maybe put all the perma back pack tickets up for sale for like 50 diamonds!!!!

Now that would be just awesome.

I was wondering about the buff items myself and was curious if they will mimic/replace the potions we cannot get from our maids?

So this latest post made by Aqualink tells me the housing will not be fixed by tomorrow's maintenance. And if it's not fixed by friday, we all know no ones even gonna mess with it on the weekend, meaning there wont be a fix until NEXT maintenance, if they even fix it by then, which will be next tuesday or thursday at the earliest.

Quite frankly, unless these npcs they're adding gives me all the pots and full buffs that my maxed housekeepers give, it doesn't make this experience any more "bearable"

There's a really good thread discussion going on in another thread discussing ideas on how we can bring new players to the game..and then stuff like this happens, and it chokes the life out of any motivation I have to talk good about this game to anyone who inquires about it

I read the latest news and wept. Last time I played was 2 years ago, and all my storage boxes were configured for the level I was at during that time. This does not work for me now, because I started a new toon to get back into the game. I can see my items via the Inventory Viewer Add-on, but not touch them. I don't care about housemaids, buffs, or plants. But not being able to get to my gear, runes, food and potions is driving me nuts.

Just saw the patch notes no mention of timer being fix for goblins which has been broke for over 6 weeks and still no houses this is just sad. I am not uninstalling RoM though I have been thinking about it but sure the hell wont spend anymore money on it.

what a mess

yes if anything was going to be patched it should have been house problem. all the stats i have rolled the past month and the gear i was working on are all in my storage chests. Good way to kill the population = lock people out of their houses with no warning and with no estimated duration for a resolution. who cares about XP/TP buffs?! there are a million ways to get xp/tp buffs already! all the days and hours and diamonds i spent on getting stats and gear together and now i am locked out of it. what a ripp off!
