It shouldn't solve the storage issue if your bag is filled with bind on pickup items xD But with housekeeper pots... yea, I'd say mailing them would be the best option.

Yes too many bound items ( Bind on Pick UP ) that causes inventory to fill up, already have a storage guild, and a boat load of alts....it is not the unbound items that cause inventory issues. I do rent space, bank and backpack space.

How many quests require you to gather at least two to four items that each take a slot and are bound? This all was done by the original design of the game to influence us to purchase more storage space( not meaning anything about the current issue of housing).

So when one of the major storage spaces is cut off ( which many of us have prob sunk 100s of dollars on ) it has a tendency to really bog ones inventory down.

Reason I asked if they could consider handing out some freebie storage while they find a solution to the housing issue, which will prob resolve itself once they change festivals.

I have at least 10 Bank Space Scroll (7 Days) from mini games. Anyone who does mini games should have some.

Put in the Proof exchange npc and Badge of Trial npc til you guys get the crap figured out. That'll both impress me and shut me up.

I'm assuming there will be no fix today so it looks like its be AT LEAST another 4 days until we see a fix, if not another 6 days depending on when you guys have maintenance next week..if there's even a fix by then.

ok why should we get badge of the trial NPC? is siege war broken and you can't get your badges? Why proof of myth NPC'S? oh you said to shut you up, why? can't you do that and say tyvm for at least trying to compensate us? It will be fixed when it will be fixed.

Players have been mentioning backpack or bank space scrolls for the space, lucky for you if you still have 10, some of us have none left ;-) but hey, GM's actually passed on players recommendation and they gave it to us, OMG they did it loll ;-)

I am quite impress on the way they are trying to calm the kids down and they are still not happy, no matter what GM's do, people think they are intitled to more and more and more,

While maybe not with the passion, I'm more in agreement with Xaldyn here. Bank space scrolls have been called for some. I have no problem with them trying, but like Xaldyn, I have plenty and rarely use them because I view them as a well-conceived trap. For me, the biggest thing, besides a couple of things I need out of my house, is speed. Everything you would want to do, mostly, is slowed down by not having access, and some things tremendously so. And some of the things you really don't like to do also. This creates an unpleasant gaming experience for me, because while all time could be judged as wasted, I actually feel I'm wasting time if I would do the things I would normally do, and thus, I simply don't do them.

I'll admit, I don't understand why people have such a problem with people who disagree with the way things are being handled. They try to shut down threads with calls of 'whining' and what not, but why? Is it a privilege to play the game or are they privileged that we play the game? I believe the second is true. is this like one of those restaurants where the privilege of being there supposedly outweighs everything? Are we like RoM battered housewives (not a true comparison to that, but it's to make a point but in no way am I making an equivalence), who believe that the best thing to do is to stay no matter what with mouths closed? I believe the answer is no to those questions.

As for why Xaldyn suggested those things, I suspect it's because like me, he feels that these temporary remedies are being outweighed by the inconvenience.

I think some of us need to relax a bit here. Housing hasn't been permanently removed from the game, it's been temporarily turned off to allow them time to fix some issues. Since this is an ongoing issue, the GMs have put in some NPCs to help alleviate the inconvenience of the loss of housing. Unless I missed it, the word "compensation" has only been mentioned by players not GMs. It "could" be that GF "may" be planning to offer some form of compensation AFTER they have fixed the issue? This would make a lot of sense since as of right now we really don't know how long the housing issue will take to fix.

So in short, relax and work around the issue, enjoy the benefits given by the NPCs or don't - that's up to you. Perhaps we can all at least agree to wait and see how this all works out before we start discussing our satisfaction/dissatisfaction with the "compensation" offered. For now I would just like to thank the GMs for doing something well-intentioned for the players. I realize you didn't have to do anything and I for one appreciate the effort.

While some of us are rather endgame and not in need of temp scrolls and what not it is important for game companies to do compensation over game faults like this as it kills population and that's one of the only ways to sort of say 'we're sorry please don't leave the game' to the playerbase.
Some companies like Nexon go crazy with that sometimes mailing itemshop stuff to everyone over a couple hours of down time.
It's nice to see Gameforge realizing that and acting on it this time.

So you trying to say if you get endgame all of a sudden you get more storage for free?

What does being rather endgame have to do with the amount of storage you have?

Seeing as they sent out backpack tickets in a pretty timely fashion... they should be able to send out HK pots? unbridled / aggro / caviar / gallopping gale? That'd be really great.

umh yea it is actually on EU, 5-6 secs skill delays and many getting booted out of sw in last mins, and its been this way for over 3 months now. Wouldnt surprise me if it breaks over on US soon enough also.

I'm curious if that 'special' maintenance for the US/AU servers only is housing connected? It could easily be something else, with one thing popping into my mind, but if it is, I'll admit that I find the fact that it's only the US/AU servers 'interesting'.

I agree, les. Doubt the special maint has to do with houses though since it's a universal problem, so they wouldn't fix US/AU house issue without putting everyone down for maint.
