pet xp charm + lvl 60 elite amulet

Any idea why this thread Pet Experience Charm bugged is moved to "Fixed Bugs / Not a Bug "?

The two amulets are clearly not the same type. And I get the same error message as in the report above when trying to equip the pet xp charm.

Really irritating...

I agree they are not the same, but that doesn't mean 'they' don't think it is the same (working as designed).

Edit:
Also, it could have been once upon a time fixed, but now broken...again.
M (100), P (100), W (100), K (100), S (100), R (100) --> order of previously being active
Reni Mithras Aeterna Server (6/27/2017 - Mainly RETIRED,Came back temporarily to get more cards ).
06/07/2011 (ch. 3) - Group completed RT diamond mode with me as M/K!

As far as I know, they always worked that way. L60 amulet is not a separate type, although it would make sense for it to be one.

Yea, I think it has always been like this too, but perhaps there was a brief period where they thought they fixed it. That forum Uure linked to includes both 'fixed bugs' and 'not a bug', which aren't the same. Why did they include the two categories instead of separating it out? Because it is RoM. :pillepalle:

Uure, if it bothers you much (the situation is of low nuisance for me), you might want to create a new thread in the bugs section and see where that goes.

I think you can remove your level 60 one and then when done with the pet exp charms, go back to the NPC and it should let you get another level 60 one

I done that, since I usually keep an alt or two with the flower amulet to make gels for guildies. But you lose whatever progress you made on growing that flower, if you are actually working on L60 elite.

A flaw, sure, but pet XP charms are so valuable and so rarely obtainable, that even in that case, it is worth it to lose the flower, IMO. Or, if your item shop bank page is emptyish, stash the charms there till flower is done.

Thank you for posting this I've had sooo many pet xp charms in my IS BP b/c of the lvl 60 elite amulet. Is this how it's supposed to work?

Here it is.

No, it does not bother me that much, but it's illogical (other amulets can be worn together) and actually it took me quite a while last year to figure out that I can throw away lvl-60 -elite amulet, charge the Pet XP Charms and get the amulet again. Some people might miss it and either have their bank full of Pet XP Charms or simply start throwing these away...

Imho Pet XP Charm was one of the best things you could get for a not-alt from the Garden! It would be quite a waste if some people get stuck and don't get the benefits because of this bug!
