I DID count correctly the first time. I only got 12 black bars when you should get a minimum of 14. So I'm 2 black bars short. So my initial statement holds true, one of the mini-bosses on boss 2 did NOT drop any black bars at all. It was Snow Blake if that matters, if anyone else runs into a similar scenario

Snow blake did not drop any black bars for me as well.
All other mini-bosses did drop the usual 2 black bars.

3rd day, when I go to the pom vendor she says my turns left are 0. I haven't turned in the black bars yet.

All minis bosses have dropped the 2 black bars for me on 2nd boss in Zs.

This thread is about the vendor not the bosses dropping black bars.

It all ties in to issues with the event though. It's not like we're talking about our weekend plans.

Has anyone else encountered Snow Blake as a mini boss and not gotten black bars? I see myself and one other has confirmed this. Seems to be an actual problem with the event

I haven't had any problems at all with turn ins on any accounts.

@xaldyn - I've gotten either 14 or 16 so far but I'm not certain which miniboss isn't dropping the bars because I'm mostly just rushing through as fast as I can.

So far the only mini boss for anyone seems to be Snow Blake as the problem child. Haven't run it yet today but if she spawns again and either drops or doesn't drop black bars I'll update that here

The only other mini boss I can't confirm or deny is Thynos, as he hasnt spawned for me yet. Otherwise every other mini boss has spawned for me, and Snow Blake was the only issue

I haven't had any issues so far yet with them. I usually get 16 and when I don't I think it is cause I don't loot a mini fast enough and the body decays.

I haven't had any hand in issues yet either, thankfully.

No issues with Snow Blake, any other Mini Bosses, or the NPC's here. TY

The first day, Snowblake didn't give me any black bars on one of my two toons. Since then, I've gotten them each time and I have seen every mini-boss.

Just ran again and got Snow Blake and she gave me black bars, but this time when Ancalon popped up as a mini boss she did NOT give me black bars. And she did the first time I got her 2 days ago. Thynos did pop for me today and he did give me black bars.

So it seems that while the percentage for the mini bosses dropping black bars is fairly high, they're not "guaranteed" drops from them.

Just did ZS fine, got all my black bars went to turn in and excuse my french but all the buttheads are saying i allready turned in today? LIke heck I did. Almost as if they didn't reset from yesterday. NO point to have a proof event if i cant get the rewards. #gettinscrewed. #Iwantcompensated

EDIT: Someone told me these don't reset with dailies/minis they reset 5 hours or so before hand? this could be my problem, due to my schedule at work i dont get home until 3am..

Yea, they reset at Midnight Pacific Time.

if you have an alt in the party, i have noticed that the black bars only drop for 1 char per party, and it is semi-random(for me). even opening/closing loot window did not make the bars appear for the other toons.

if you are not checking loot on any alt you may be running through as soon as boss dies, then bars will be missed when the body disappears.

The black bars ARE only 2 black bars per boss, per party, not per person, yes. However, they are considered white drops. So once you check the loot with you or whatever alts you're with in the party that actually GOT the black bars, close the loot interface without looting the black bars, and you "should" be able to pick up the black bars with any character in the party.

I have not run into that issue yet or the issue of not being able to turn in the black bars to the npc's. The only issue for me so far has been for two days (two runs) in a row now, for me anyways, at least one mini boss on Boss 2 hasn't dropped black bars. Which must mean that they (while having a very high percentage) are not 100% guaranteed drops from the mini bosses. If it was JUST Snow Blake like my initial hypothesis being that someone else had the same issue with Snow Blake, that would tell me it's a possible bug with Snow Blake. However, after having Snow Blake drop black bars, and having Ancalon (who previously DID give me black bars) NOT give me black bars, tells me its probably just not a guaranteed drop, however unlikely and unlucky of a scenario it is.

For me, it was twice in a row.


Wish I had that kind of consistency when pulling stats lol..

thats the funny thing. i've had times when i did exactly that, and the body disappeared before it was even lootable for other toons. however, this has only happened on the adds.




an a related note, not burning hansis is so worth it...i decided to be lazy and just not buff one time....you can be sure i am not gonna buff again...

OR... just put the party loot on free for all when you start and you won't ever have issues picking them up on the alt first.

bars are white. unless you have rarity settings at white, then they already behave as if it is FFA.

If they already behave as FFA, then you wouldn't need to open the loot first on an alt to loot on your main. If it's set as FFA, then anyone can loot no matter what.
