Runes of Magic US / AU

I just downloaded the RoM game last night and I'm trying to log in so I can start playing. I think I registered my account under the EU server on the website, pretty sure the server is still set to EU. I've tried switching the server to the US with the same results. I'm getting the "Account of Password Error" message. I've tried doing what has been suggested in another thread of using the server as a prefix to my user name. I've even tried signing in with my email address, just to see what would happen. I can sign into everything else, just not into the game, which makes the download useless at this point. I did submit a ticket, but I was just wondering if there are any other tricks I might try. I'd like to at least get a character built. *power frown*

I've set it to usa, I've set it to EU, I've set it back to usa, I tried the Majik process of uninstalling GameForge (or GameForce, whichever). Nothing seems to be working. The only other thing I can think of is to uninstall and reinstall, but I would rather not wait through 5 hours of download and install again....as an after thought, if I installed the game off a different server (pretty sure it was either the UK or US since the text was all English) the German server, hypothetically, would the game still work, if all my options where set to the US server? I've signed in and registered with the US server and I'm still being offered the "Download" link to install the game again.

So, did you actually get the client removed from GF Live? If so, are you using the client that's removed from GF Live? I've noticed people try to set the GF Live region to US and think it's what affecTS the RoM region.

I've attached a Screen Shot of the launcher I am using. I've tried switching it in the launcher as well as the GF Live as well as the RoM main site. All with no success.

Thanks Zerienga. I decided to uninstall and try re-installing on the off chance that installing off a UK server with a US account was confusing the software. I think that is what happened, though I don't know why it would be an issue. If I'm lucky I'll be able to start a game sometime tonight. Maybe.

So I've down loaded and installed, uninstalled and re-downloaded and installed again with no success. (Each download and install took over 10 hours by the way.) I'm still getting the same error code. "Account or Password Error" I've downloaded from the US page, my client is set to the US Server, I've tried the Majik method as well as trying to put the server id in front of my account name and nothing.

I've installed Metin2 in the mean time, but I was hoping to be able to get a game started with RoM. Maybe it's just not meant to be??

Well, when I open the website and it's set to EU, I'm not logged in, but when I change it to the USA page, I automatically get logged in. I tried logging in on the EU page, but I got a message that said my email could not be found. My account is found on all the USA spots (forum, webpage and support) but the game client will not recognize my account info. I'm completely at a loss. I even tried switching the server to the Dutch server, so no go.

Pretty sure I did. I always make sure I check my mail after registering for anything. And I'm sure I followed any links sent to me as instructed.
