ROM Change Password screen

I just wanted to report a potential bug - I am trying to change my password and even after the "green bar" fills up which IMPLIES that my password is safe enough and satisfactory, it will not let me change my password. I'd appreciate it if someone can address this issue.

My apologies for posting this in the wrong section but the actual help section of the forums have been inactive for months now.

EDIT:

The steps to reproduce the problem:
1) Go to RoM Main Site
2) Navigate to Account
3) Under the Password module, select Change>>
4) Enter a valid password to be changed to

"This password is not permitted. It is not secure enough. Please choose another password."

As a test, I have done insanely complex passwords and none will work.

I've had that happen usually when I try to use a password too much. Are you sure you're following the guidelines of the password?

Not sure what you mean by "use a password too much".
And yes, I am positive - no special chars, 8 chars min, >1 lower, >1 capital, number

I managed to use a single password for the majority of my accounts. It won't let me use that password at all anymore for any accounts, even ones that used to have that as its password.

And I just tested changing a alt account that I haven't used in about a year's password and it worked. *a*Z***1*** <- that worked (actual letters and numbers other than the revealed were used in place of the *) So, I'm thinking you might have accidentally mistyped or the password you are trying to use was used too much.

But yes, I did want to change it to a password that I have used perhaps elsewhere in other "locations".
Regardless, I'd like to be able to change it to that particular password and it won't let me. That particular password is also insanely complicated / never been used on RoM so I am shocked that it is recognized as a used password.

It seems you'e done a fair amount of troubleshooting on your part already. At this point, I would say to check the region of website you're using for password change and then if it still fails to contact support. It may be time for a forced password reset. Do you currently have access to the email address attached to the game account? You'll need it to prove your ownership of the account.
