i was downloading the patches when my lappy froze while i was doin another program to kill time , now i try to continue downloading patches it gives me an exec not found msg

Im receving an error.
My download is at 1% while updating is stuck at 79


My internet speed is also stuck at 427kb

You will almost certainly have to delete the manual patches you were downloading and redo them. Sorry.

I just downloaded and fully patched the game in about an hour. My net speed was at around or above 1000 KB though, so that can't hurt xD.

No problems on my end, but I am thankful for the info on the continuous opening and closing.

Uhhh... WTH! The link is dead for the first patch here that I'm supposed to do.

patch_3.0.5.2262.en_3.0.5.2284.en.exe (25.5MB)!!!!.....O.O!!!!!

New user here. Strange that this is how I'm introduced to the game. Totally willing to work with you guys though. Btw Hello all. If someone has it on file please pm me a link or email it to me.

on the game what # should it say?:confused: cause mine says 3.0.8.2349.en is that suppose to be the right #? :confused:and it also says your version is different from the surver; please update your suver. what does it mean? :confused:what and how are we suppose to update?:confused: we already did the latest patches and it still doesnt work? what are we suppose to do?:confused:

Go back to the first message in this thread and read it. Then scroll down that message 'til you get to the first two boldfaced patches. Following Tigsman's instructions, download and manually install those two patches. That should cure the problem.

He answered your question on how to potentially fix your issue. Regardless of what ur current version which should be the latest at the time of this posting, reinstalling the last 2 or 3 patches fixes many bad updates which appears to be your issue. Please follow his instructions to follow my instructions to hopefully fix your problem.

The latest two patches do not pull up the .exe, it sends me to a page telling me it isn't found.

sorry about that, seems Frogster chose to get their own caching service to download files from so the source changed from llnwd.net to frogster-online.com. Should be fixed now.

Is there an alternate location? Trying to take advantage of high speed access at work and our DNS is not resolving the host address, which makes both auto-update and manual update fail. Or maybe just an IP so I can put it in my hosts file and hopefully get it going that way.

Looks like the person above me is having same issue. I can get to www.frogster-online.com but not to the download one.

Symptom of DNS issue, most likely. Grab it from Megaupload, where the nice folks working for EU frogs made a copy:

IMO,
NEVER, EVER, trust an external link to a games' "patch", always get it from the source.
Unfortunately, frogster, your link to D/L the patch for manual install is broke.

any idea on a time frame for the patch being available for download?
