Game crashes video drivers

Every time on a fresh start the game eventually causes my video drivers to crash and while they do recover, another issue on my system has come to my attention only recently that is caused by this crash
I wanna know if there is anyway to deal with this issue, because the problem it causes persists until I restart my PC

Try reducing settings in the game, there is a lot of 'fluff' that's turned on by default that stresses some video cards.
If that doesn't work, try uninstalling the old vid drivers, and install the latest version.

I keep my setting low already as that stops A LOT of game crashes for me
and my drivers are kept up top date

my video card is a GTX 970 if that helps as well

Which OS are you using? Win 7, 8, 8.1, 10?

You may need to either update or roll back your video driver(s).

If you are using Win 10, there have been reports that when 10 does an update, it is replacing manufacturer video drivers with MS WHQL video drivers. This may be causing the problem(s).

I run 8.1
and the display driver issue has been happening since I started playing again late august, but I've only just recently noticed bigger issues it caused
