Can't start the game

Help me out folks. I've reopened an old account, updated the launcher and checked to make sure my country is correct. However, the game will not launch. It runs through the patch, like it's supposed to, gets to 100%, pauses and does it all again. Any words of wisdom out there?

Restart your pc and re install rom or try again

The most recent game client needs a fair wee number of patches before its' ready to play.
Hoefully, there will be a new client build soon reducing the number of required patches.

Sometimes the patches will lock up at any completion level and sit there for very long periods of time. I had one sit at 100% for over an hour before moving on to the next patch. So it is often best to let it run overnight to update without looking at it at all during the time because all that will do is aggravate you and keep you from letting it finish.

Thanks to all for your help! I did just let it run overnight and now I can get to the login screen. However, now I can't login. It tells me "Account of password error". I'm using the same credentials that I use to login to this board/forum. My country is set correctly at the top of the launcher and at the bottom of the ROM run screen. What do I do?

If you have not played since the server merge or immediately prior to the merge your account may have been deleted. Contact support.

First, stop using your forum login details to log in to the game and use your game account details instead.
Second, make sure you are setting your Region in the correct place - it's in the RoM launcher, not the GameforgeLive launcher, and you need to press the big red Region/Language button.
