Ch. 6 and Honor Points

Honor Points are broken.

Upon logging into siege war, going into arena, or going to NPCs that sell items with honor points (YomanROM's summary post), the honor points a character had prior to ch. 6 drops to drastic low levels. IF this was done purposely (by game design)....

1) What is the point of having the honor point server rankings now?

2) Many people (like me) were never informed/communicated that this drastic change was going to occur. What kind of compensation are we going to get for this loss that we could have spent on mats or hammers BEFORE ch. 6 came about? Many of us spent YEARs accumulating the points to see them go poof with a patch.

We want an official response from a CM or a developer on how this is being handled. Until then, I will not go into siege war or visit any of these bugged NPCs that will take it down since Ch. 6 started. That means less $ for you.

Current version as of this post. And for those support personnel that don't actually play this game or respond in a timely manner..."current" means 6.0.1.2650.en. However, the problem really started when ch. 6 came out..

Review where I have 411k amount still from prior to chapter 6 and currently at #2 spot in the rankings. Prior to the patch I was like ~8 or so if I recall.

Another recent patch, many more days have gone by, and still no official response on this..

By the way, they have had since June 4th when the patch notes for Ch. 6 have gone out and people started to already complain in the undocumented changes thread.

I still have yet to do siege war because of this lack of official response.. :mad:

I lost upwards of 50,000 points and dropped all the way back down to 0 upon doing siege war after I came back to the game after a year. Just ridiculous. Is there ever going to be any compensation or even a response on this issue?

do drill ground for x3 days (3mins max per day) and u ll get your .. 50k honor points back and ready to spend before next day's drill

ps: no more stacking honor points anymore. thats the whole point of the patch. get them easily and spend them. if u dont wont to spend them, that s ur own problem

Note, as of patch 6.0.2, the honor point ranking is no longer available. It is of no surprise this change is also not documented in the 'official' patch notes:

I decided to continue to play siege war once again because of this undocumented change. Sure enough, my honor points went poof like everyone else's.

Loat of honor points

I would like to specify something about this subject. I also lost a fair amount of honor points when this patch was installed. what I don't understand is that there r NPC's in OS glory square that can give u stuff but for amounts of honor points that exceed our 25k maximum that we now get. In fact the lowest required is about 277k. Now how r we suppose to be able to get whatever it is if our total is limited to 25k? Someone suggested that those r different honor points but couldn't phatom what they were (battlefield maybe). Well if thats the case, where do those points go once u do the battlefield? Because I do not see the "name" properly indicated that way in the Character screen. So either there was a mistake in the discription on the text of those vendors NPCs (they sould match what ever name is on the character sheet) or in the labeling of those points on the Character sheet. So maybe that can be adressed in a futur patch. Like some names for some staff/wand. A staff is a staff, a staff isn't a wand... Tho I have seen some wand called staffs.. I didn't think this was hard to understand but it seems that it is. Also, where have the NPC'S with level 50 purple gear, that were in merchand square OS, gone???? THey sell level 77 or 80 now. But the gear that they were selling (level 50)?? Can they be bought somewhere else?? I would appriciate if some NPCs would, somewhere. :wacko:

ROM needs a FAQ. This has been brought up many many times, and I can't really go RTFF when there is no F.

Yes, that has been confusing for ages. At least since HOS, which has a "Forgotten Wand" staff. It is localization issue more than anything.

Nope. It is gone. Gathering dust in goblin's warehouse next to boxes of unsold L72 Phirius Shell gear.
