every time it is "fixed", a new one is always found less than a day later...not really a problem imo, unless they are using it to dodge debt/dura loss...

that and the fact that there is an ingame function to do the exact same thing(stuck report), which just takes longer...they make stuck report a 5-10 sec wait, and you pretty much instantly made the DM obsolete...

btw, it is apparently a bannable offense now...


but yeah, i have no problem with people using it, tbh...

It's an exploit - hence, it's bannable.
Therefore, please don't use it.

I am glad it is bannable.. I personally thought people that were 1) too lazy to run, 2) not wanting to wait for stuck report, or 3) whatever reason they justify using it were just plain pathetic. Never used it, never thought about it and always thought it was a loser thing to do.


I mean it is like botting a daily that takes you 3 minutes to do without botting it. What is the point?!?! So you don't have to do something for 4 freaking minutes. Yet people bot their drinks daily EVERY day. I mean cmon it isn't even hard to do it manually!!

Where is your source for the quoted part of your post? Never heard of (or saw any announcement) any xp/tp event for the holidays and certainly never saw any announcement anywhere that it was cancelled because people are still opting to exploit instead of playing within the rules. Doing this is/would have been punishing the entire community for the bad actions of a few.

I thought the same thing. Or is this another, "we had exp/tp events in the past and we didn't this year, there must have been some hidden reason", instead of the fact they just may not have had one planned? Sounds a little Tin-Foil-hat-like to me.

What do you mean "send them"? Are you talking about reporting them? If so, then sending a ticket in to support is the only way. Provide character names, screenshots/video and as much info as you can about the offender.

I hope he does. Everyone who sees someone using a known bannable exploit should be reporting the offender. That is the only way we will clean up our game and make sure it is fair to everyone. If you are angry because you are using either this exploit or others, don't worry, you will be caught someday and banned accordingly. :growup:

Tombedsoul is not a snitch in my eyes, reporting people that intentionally and constantly break the ToS will help the in-game community alot more than doing nothing. If someone breaks the ToS and gets caught or reported then they deserve whatever vacation from the game that comes their way.

@Tombedsoul - you only have 2 posts but you have earned my respect already, keep up the good work.

he has my respect as well. We need more people willing and able to bring ideas to light that need attention. If the people that were hacking diamonds, etc were caught earlier by someone "snitching" we wouldn't have had the economy take such a tank as it has. It was those people that KNEW what was going on and were ok with benefitting from it that let it get out of hand.


This is where I always liked one of the hackers, because he made such a fire and made it so OBVIOUS there was a problem, to the point it got fixed. However, if people didn't sit around and try to benefit from it and report it earlier... it wouldn't have hurt as much when it was fixed.


So yes Tombedsoul gets my two enthusiastic thumbs up and so does anyone else that brings to light things that are exploits and thus helping the community. Regardless of some people opinion it is "snitching" ... merely because they would rather the topic stay a secret.... probably because they enjoy benefitting from it.

Yep if more players would report shenanigans the game would be better as a whole. We have a bunch who uses it on Reni to do butterflies because they are too lazy to run back to the NPC and they openly admit to it, then they will wonder why they got banned.

Just like people botting the EOJ's in Chrysalia. Same thing day in and day out, just happy GM's pop in and started banning the losers who are doing it. If we can get rid of the morons who can't accomplish anything in the game as it was intended, then they have no business of being here.

+100000 to reporting the exploiters, hackers, cheaters, dupers and the rest of them, support works, report them and clean out the servers.

tbh, reporting people doesn't do much until RW/GF actually fixes whatever is being abused...

there are things that are bannable offenses now...guess what, the people that do it openly got banned...the majority actually partaking in the action just laugh at them and become more careful...

i'll say this, if they actually banned EVERYONE that has committed bannable offense, they might as well just shut down the servers now, as there wouldn't be enough people left to form a party...

and that goes for 1/2 the people i see on the forums...just through chatting/watching vids, playing with, i know you have all committed some bannable offense...

people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones...

i personally find this thread hilarious, especially concerning some of the people complaining...

How does using this macro even hurt you? What exactly does it do to the game that is so terrible? I just don't see it.

Sounds like you use this exploit quite often. I'm of the opinion no matter if I agree with the rulings or not, Gameforge has said using this is a bannable exploit. Go ahead, keep using it, I dare you. Someone will see you, turn you in and you can suffer through whatever banning they give. Using this has nothing to do with how fast you can do dailies, there are so many dailies that would take LONGER using this, but you know best so go ahead, keep using it.

Now that you've made it known you are in favor of using this, I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if people don't go out of their way to look for you, maybe even have a GM pop on and check up on you. People like you are the ones who should be gone from this game.

I don't agree with some of the rule changes that have been made, but I will play within the rules that are setup. It is not worth the risk to me to use something so trivial and possibly lose my account. I've told people on my server, if someone thinks I've done something wrong, then by all means report me. I have nothing to hide, if I'm found guilty of something, I'll learn what it was I did wrong and not do it again. It's really not that hard for the honest, fair players to enjoy the game within the rules. It's the players who think they are above the rules that destroy games.

Um I retired long ago...so they are more than welcome to look for a toon that stopped playing. And to your post I'm sure that the death macro is responsible for ROM"s slow death gtfo .
